5 stars out of 5

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Body Scrub has arrived just in time for warm Fall showers! I want to tell you Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Body Scrub has returned but dude, I do NOT remember this from last year. Someone recently said to me, “Oh I’m so glad it’s back!” and I was like wait, what? This is totally new to me! I don’t remember it from last year at all! I do remember their every returning Pumpkin Body Butter but a Body Scrub? Nope! I recently hauled this and Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream and I am so in love with both!

Fall is in the air, friends (and in my shower!).

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Body Scrub arrives in a dual-lidded jar which holds 8 oz of exfoliating brown sugar scrub. The dual-lid allows you to flip open the top to access the scrub! This is great when you’re in the shower and don’t want to deal with unscrewing the top off your favorite scrub. Or if you’re feeling like you’d like to unscrew the entire lid that option is also, available! It’s $6.99 which is a fair and budget-friendly price! It’s not as big as Tree Hut Scrub’s which are 18 oz and around $11 to $12 dollars but hey, it isn’t too bad a deal either.

I have to admit I was a little iffy about purchasing this after purchasing last year’s Trader Joe’s Hot Cocoa Whipped Body Scrub drama! That stuff was awful! It was dense, didn’t provide much scrub, and didn’t melt down very well and just left chunky little plastic-like pieces all over my shower floor. The color is ahem…a little iffy but aside from that the formula is a lot softer this time around and a vast improvement from the Hot Cocoa one!

I think Trader Joe may be onto something with this Pumpkin Scrub though! They might want to even consider using this same formula for the Brazil Nut Body Scrub as they have improved a good deal with this formula. It’s soft, melty, yet grainy and gently exfoliating. It creates a light lather when water is applied and left my knees and elbows smooth and soft without being greasy or creating a slippery mess in the shower.

And the scent…! It’s a winner! Creamy pumpkin with touches of cinnamon and sugar! It smells like Fall! Perfection! It’s a gorgeous and very realistic scent that isn’t plastic pumpkin and weird generic cinnamon! It smells like real pumpkin spice! Very warm, very gourmand, very Fall! Love it!

Well done, Trader Joe’s! It looks like you’ve perfected your body scrub! Now we need you to make sure to use the same formula in your upcoming seasonal body scrubs.

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Body Scrub is available now but be sure to grab it now before it disappears!
