5 New Makeup Things I Love and One Non-Makeup Thing I Adore

Happy New Year guys! I hope it’s going to be your best year ever! I’m thinking of you and I’m manifesting good things in my heart and mind for you! I hope you’re blessed this year with your health and happiness.
I didn’t have a bad 2020. I had my job, I had my health, and still had/have all my loved ones. I had food on my table and I had a warm bed to sleep in at night! I don’t wish for more this year. If I keep all these things into 2021 I’ll be perfectly happy! People spent so much time and energy whining about how bad 2020 was because they couldn’t travel, go out, or see their friends and family but really why are we complaining? If our friends and family are healthy we can call them up or do a video chat and see them. We can still travel but I personally didn’t this year because I didn’t feel safe and I think it’s unnecessary unless you really need too! But we can take a look at what’s around us and enjoy those things! I spent a lot of time this year discovering new places to take my daily power walks. I also went on a ton of hikes with my boyfriend. We tried to make the most of the times we could be outside and much of it was just the two of us exploring places that were local but new to us. As for going out, it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be. I mean, I spent so much time learning how to cook this year and we finally sat down to meals I made without burning boiling water to make them. We learned new things last year! We even gained some new and good habits! Don’t forget this past year showed us that Black Lives Matter and that we can make a change if we all come together! We aren’t completely there yet but we fought the good fight last year and it made impact and change possible and I hope we continue to fight that fight this year! Please this year as always remember to be good humans!
And of course, like most of you I spent a lot of time without makeup on as per the pic I posted below (The same one I posted last week that you guys stroked my ego raw with all the gorgeous comments you left on it! Thank you! You made me feel very special!) But also, don’t forget, I also spent a TON of time wearing red lipstick and excessive amounts of peach highlighter while binge watching our favorite TV shows. That happened. Truly it did. There’s nothing like wearing a full face of makeup to a Friday screening of The Mandalorian because you gotta look good for Pedro Pascal!
Which brings us to a very important topic! Pedro Pascal! The one non-makeup thing in this post I adore! I mean, he and I are virtually married and working on a child together he just doesn’t know it (our first born is totally going to look like Grogu). Also, my boyfriend doesn’t know about all this but it happened in my head which makes it real right?! I think as a geek I can say this man officially ruined the Star Wars franchise because all we want to do is drool all over him! This is just not the geeky way ha…!

There’s makeup in this post somewhere. Time to get on with that…..!
Here are five new makeup things I love this year! I mean 4 days into the New Year and already we have some great new releases.
Oh my god! None of the items in this set are new but imma throw it out there again today and say if you haven’t taken advantage of the Clinique Endless Glow Moisture Surge Set what are you waiting for? It’s 50% off today for Platinum and Diamond Members. Totally a score. Very few people know my real age and I’m not telling it now but I blame moisture. Plenty of moisture. Well hydrated skin will keep you looking years longer! This set is 50% today only at Ulta and grabbed one early today because it contains all full items at a great price! And most important, packs in the moisture for the longer hard winter ahead! New York is tricking us up lately as it’s a bit mild lately but don’t worry that cold weather is coming and hydration is key for keeping skin looking young and in good health!
