Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush is a viral sensation but one biggest grievances you hear about it is the fact it’s just TOO pigmented. I actually had that issue when I tried the new E.L.F. Camo Liquid Blush. That formula was just too unnatural for me. I’m pretty heavy-handed with blush and that formula is so very easy to overdo. It’s SUPER pigmented and the shades are so bright and bold. I’d dare say garish! I just can’t get a natural look when I apply them. I love me some pigmented makeup but that was just overkill. I hear Soft Pinch Liquid Blush is pretty darn pigmented as well but unless the shade range is a lot more flattering than the bold reds, oranges, and pinks that E.L.F. gave us.

If you’re a fearful of pigmented blush or feel like you’ll never get through one of Rare Beauty’s blushes you’ll be happy to know they just launched six mini ones! As you may know a few months ago Rare Beauty launched a single shade of Mini Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shade Hope. I believe some of the proceeds from the shade went to Mental Health Awareness if I’m recalling correctly. They’ve extended the shade of the minis to add five more shades. A regular Soft Pinch Liquid Blush is $23 and 0.25 oz in size where as the mini version is $14 at 0.11 oz. I think it’s a nice way to try these and an even nicer way to just have something in your collection you’ll use up considering the originals are so pigmented and a larger one will last you years and years! A mini just seems a more logical way to ensure you’ll use the product up. This is especially smart when it comes to liquids or creams which tend to go bad quicker than powders. Not to mention they’re so much more travel friendly and easier to store!

As you may know Jackie Aina has introduced a fragrance collection under her Forvr Mood brand. The fragrances launch April 2nd and many sold out fast (even the travel sprays). This morning a Forvr Mood Fine Fragrance Discovery Set dropped and I immediately purchased it. I’m not waiting to grab this one as I have a feeling by end of day or sooner it’ll be gone! I was going to indulge in the four large bottles when they launched earlier this week but I’ve been having bad luck with some of my fragrance blind buys this month! I’m normally pretty lucky with my blindbuys but I’ve been on a losing streak and decided I better wait on ordering full bottles of these. I decided I’d do the travel sprays but most of them sold out before I could grab them. I had heard a Discovery Set was in the works and was every so happy when it landed at Sephora this morning. I also, snagged the Brown Girl Jane Discovery Set as well a few days ago and I’m eager to get both of these to check out!

The Forvr Mood Fine Fragrance Discovery Set contains four fragrance mists that are 0.1 oz each. It’s the complete collection of scents that Jackie introduced which makes it a nice way to try the entire library before you indulge in the larger, more expensive bottles.

You get I Am Her which is a gourmand with notes of red velvet, pear, and raspberry! Hard to Get which is a citrus fragrance with citron zest, sheer jasmine, and whipped vanilla. NDA which is a spicy, sensual scent with notes of spiced rum, tobacco flower, and vanilla bean. You Remind Me a skin scent with apricot skin, orange flower, and musks.

Jackie is a big fan of fragrances and has a large perfume collection which makes me very curious about her creations as I imagine a lot of love and attention went into creating these. If you want this set I wouldn’t wait to grab it as I think it will sell out fast.
