I’ve organized and cleaned the pantry twice, I’ve shined the wood floors three times in the last 7 days, and I’ve organized my entire closet for the warmer weather (not that I’m going anywhere anytime soon but hey, be prepared right?).

Now I’m busy rediscovering things I love. Like how did I forget how much I loved Little Britain? I’m re-watching all the series on Prime. Like if I had to self-isolate with one Little Britain character who would it be!? I know, I know I can’t pick Tom Baker right? Because he’s not an actual character just the narrator. DAMN! Lou and Andy? Absolutely not. I can only have one indecisive person in the house at a time and that would be me! Anne? Eh eh eh! HELL NO! Girl, licks all the things! We’d all die with her around! Vicky Pollard? Yeah but no but yeah but NO! Wait, I got it! Marjorie Dawes! She’d totally keep me from overeating!

I’m also rediscovering makeup and beauty that I forgot I loved!

Have you fallen out of love with a certain beauty brand? A brand you just aren’t into anymore? One you aren’t even following for new launches? If you had to pick one beauty brand that just isn’t doing it for you anymore which would you choose to break up with without any regret?

I was thinking about this for a while and I hate to say it but Urban Decay kept popping into my mind. The formula just isn’t the same, the releases seem so phoned in, there aren’t any truly interesting palette releases from them lately. I think Too Faced does more palettes than UD at this point.

But after mulling it over I decided, “Wait, I can’t just break up with Urban Decay!” There are still so many things I like about the brand plus if and when they do release something interesting I know I’ll be first in line to buy it.

So, after careful thought and consideration the brand that simply isn’t doing it for me anymore that I think I can safely break up with is….

Buxom Summer 2020 has arrived featuring the XTROVERT Eyeshadow Palette and I’m all meh over here. I already have the Buxom Boss Babe Eyeshadow Palette and the Boss Babe Dolly Eyeshadow Palette and I was just meh on those too which means XTROVERT is currently doing nothing for me (it does sort of remind me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Eyeshadow Palette!). It’s actually one of those palettes I’d avoid because nothing seems to match up. I either lack creativity or this palette just has a bunch of shades that really don’t jive and flow well. It just looks like a bunch of shades slapped together and thrown up for sale. Shrug.

I do get excited when they release new lipgloss sets though! The Buxom Scoop It Up Plumping Lip Gloss Set ($25) is a new, limited edition set for Summer 2020.
