And P.S. Shall we discuss the Battle of Winterfell because that was some seriously long ass epic battle. You know what? Somewhere along the way I forgot that this is Game of Thrones and that the battle is for the Iron Throne. I got so caught up in The Night King and the White Walkers and Winter I forgot that technically, that isn’t really the main part of the story at all. The battle was both the longest and quickest one I’ve seen unfold on TV. Or should I say it was the longest battle but the quickest end. I mean, what was it the last 8 minutes that things actually started building up and finally exploding? So far the season has been a really slow boil! I think a lot of people expected S8 to open with a big bang but it opened with a really soft whisper. It almost feels like I’ve been watching several episodes that lead up to S8/Episode 3. It feels like it took a very, very long time to get to this epic moment. And when it did arrive it was SO disappointing. Why? Because it was SO DAMN DARK. It was really difficult to follow what actually unfolded on screen. I have a Samsung Q Series in my living room and I squinted through most of the episode. “Wait, was that Grey Worm running towards that Walker…Was that the ice dragon or the fire dragon? Is that a Walker? Oh no, that’s Sir Davos doing absolutely nothing as this sh*t unfolds!” No seriously though, WHY WAS IT SO DARK!? By the time the end first hour rolled around I wasn’t sure who died and who was alive. I actually thought Jamie and Brienne were goners. At one point both of them were covered in White Walkers and I seen them get bitten a few times or at least I think they got bitten!? I needed a little more light.

When things finally came to a head I was able to finally sit back, take a deep breath, and think about the the real battle which is just about to begin. Believe me, Cersei is worst than anything the Night King can throw at us.

What did you think of this week’s epic episode?

Sephora #LipStories Lipsticks Are $5.60 and As Awesome As Ever

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

I decided that during the Sephora 20% Spring Beauty Event that I’d haul some new shades of Sephora Lipstories Lipsticks because they are still totally awesome and at $5.60 why the hell shouldn’t I get some more shades (regularly $7 each).

I tried these little lipsticks out when the originally launched if you recall my review was pretty raving! The shade I reviewed was Matinee which I’m wearing below!

Recently, Sephora released a new range of #Lipstories for Spring/Summer 2019 called Destinations. Sadly, none of them were available in store when I headed in last week but I did manage to grab a few other shades shades! One of which I’ve had my eye on for a while which was Oui! Oui is one of those dusky nude pinks that has a my lips but better appearance. The formula is uber creamy, lightly hydrating, and quite pigmented! I mean for under six dollars this lippie feels quite high-end! Gotta love a beauty budget purchase that actually works out brilliantly!

Sephora #LipStories Lipstick om Oui

Sephora #Lipstories Lipsticks are available now at Sephora.com. Use HEYROUGE to snag an extra 20% Off if you’re a Rouge Member! And if you’re not? They are still super cheap at $7 each and well worth a haul!

This Disney The Aristocats Marie Brush Set Is Adorable Even if the Brushes Are Probably Crap

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m like a kid sometimes but I got to admit this Disney The Aristocats Marie Brush Set and Holder is adorable. The brushes are probably crappy but I can always dump them out and replace them with my own right!?

🙂

P.S. Happy Monday! How’s your week starting out? How was your weekend? It’s chilly again here! It’s supposed to be a pretty cold week. Spring doesn’t really want to show up in New York this year for some reason! I spent part of my weekend switching up my closet from Winter to Spring/Summer and now it’s all cold again! I also did a bit of Spring cleaning and switched up my makeup, donated a ton of stuff, etc…! At the time it seemed like a good idea now I’m all, “Ok, give me my Winter coat back!”

Anyway, when the heat does hit I’ll moan about that too. I’m a New Yorker we like to whine about the weather.
