Love Him or Hate Him, Dead or Alive Karl Lagerfeld Has a L’Oreal Makeup Collection
L’Oreal x Karl Lagereld launched earlier this month right on time for the anniversary or Karl’s death on Febuary 19, 2019. It’s always unusual to see designers, celebrities, and music icons immortalized in a variety of different collaborations after their death. I imagine the L’Oreal Collection was well underway before his death since he had worked with Shu Uemura, another L’Oreal brand, in the past.
He was a person you really loved or you really hated. In the fashion world, to many, he was beloved but for those of us outside the fashion world looking in there may have been some dislike because Karl wasn’t exactly the nicest person in the world. when he was looking to “stir the pot” so to speak. Karl is no stranger to the makeup world having worked on two Shu Uemura Collection as well as a Model Co Collection and a Sephora one. In his later years, Karl lent his name to a variety of different collaborations and now that he’s gone I have a feeling we’ll see him popping up here and there even more.
