Physicians Formula Rose All Play Eyeshadow Bouquet Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Have you been waiting for my review of the new Physicians Formula Rose All Play Eyeshadow Bouquet ($17.99)? Well, it’s here! Just in time for Spring 2020 and Valentine’s Day releases! I picked this up when it launched on Physicians Formula’s website back in December because I’m really struggled locating it at CVS. Apparently it launched at select CVS locations but I know every single one I’ve visited hasn’t had a single one. I finally caved when Physicians Formula had free shipping and purchased it. It is now available at Ulta.com! Strangely enough, I was SHOCKED at the size. This thing looks huge on Instagram and on their site but it’s actually a portable palette that will store and travel easily. I dunno why I was under the impression it was some big ass palette.

It holds 12 shades which are 0.04 oz each and it is Made in China. The price does make me cringe slightly. $17.99 for a drugstore eyeshadow palette? Ouch! I mean, Maybelline’s new Nudes of New York Eyeshadow Palette contains 16 shades and that’s $13.99. I don’t mind paying for something if the quality is good but also, I have some reservations about spending near $20 on an eyeshadow palette from the drugstore you know? That being said, so many coupons apply that you might never even have to pay that much for it but regardless, I still think the original retail is a tiny bit high.

Catrice Orchid Dusk Eyeshadow Palette is It More Natasha Denona Love Palette or Huda Beauty Desert Dusk

Catrice Orchid Dusk Eyeshadow Palette enters the Spring 2020 stratosphere today and it’s a little bit Natasha Denona Love Palette, some Huda Beauty Desert Dusk, and a sprinkle of Huda Beauty Rose Gold.

I already own Desert Dusk and Rose Gold and I was kind of meh on Natasha’s new Love Palette because I feel like I have many of the shades in that palette already! I can see myself trying out the Catrice Orchid Dusk Eyeshadow Palette though to see how the formulas compare and if it might be a cheaper dupe of Natasha’s or Huda’s. At $21.99 you can snag this palette at 20% Off with code 769439 on Ulta’s website at the moment. It contains 18 wine, burgundy, cranberry, and dusky shades of pink eyeshadow inspired by the orchid. These are matte and metallic in finish and Catrice promises a highly pigmented formula. I dunno what it is but a lot of brands are embracing this shade range for Spring looks! Is it Valentine’s Day? Is it just the Spring shade of the season? I personally associate nude looks with Spring! Nude looks, golden peach blush, maybe a bronze-y eye for Spring break but shades like this not as much! But it sure does feel very Valentine-ish!

It’s not a terribly new assortment of shades but as I said I’d be curious to see how it compares to some higher-end palettes I already own. Catrice is a rather underrated brand with some awesome, affordable products. I guess that’s why I’m a bit curious about this palette. It’s not something I need as the colors are ones I have plenty of but it is something I’m quite curious about.

Catrice Orchid Dusk Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Ulta.

Do you think it would be a palette that interests you?

Are you curious to see how it measures up to some other brand that have a similar shade range?

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer More Pigment, More Coverage, Still Cheap as Chips

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer arrives today with more pigment, more coverage, and it’s still as cheap and affordable as ever. As you may know I’m a fan of the original Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer and of course, the more recent Conceal & Hydrate Concealer formula! I think both are brilliant products with great formulas and a very affordable price tag!

When I heard Makeup Revolution was introducing yet another concealer I admit I was excited especially since the new formula promised even more pigment and coverage then the original. I mean, how though? The original is super pigmented already! Can they really produce something with even more pigment? I guess so because the new Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer promises 20% more pigment and coverage in a crease and cake-proof formula that provides a second skin finish that’s breathable and natural looking.

And of course, the best part, as always, is the super affordable price tag! It’s $10! This version does contain 0.16 oz which is a bit smaller compared to Conceal & Hydrate Concealer which is 0.45 oz and $4.99 and Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer which is 0.11 oz for $7. The price is a bit higher but if the pigment is as incredible as they market as I don’t mind paying more. Also, $10 for a great concealer is not much to splurge at all! I’d pay more for the original formulas! They are just that good.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer is available now at Ulta. I’ll be picking up a few shades to review!
