Charlotte Tilbury Releases Intense Pillow Talk Goodies to Swoon Over

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Pillow Talk Intense, Pillow Talk Eyeliner, Pillow Talk Intense K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick and other goodies have arrived today at charlottetilbury.com.

The release is centered around Charlotte Tilbury’s new Intstant Eye Palette in Pillow Talk that includes 12 shades inspired by her popular dusky nude pink lipstick shade, Pillow Talk! Speaking of Pillow Talk Lipstick they now have it in an array of different intensities including a medium shade. It seems like they are wanting to shade to flatter more skin tones! The Intense version should look amazing on a deeper skin tone! In fact the whole collection seems like that is where they going. It looks like the original Pillow Talk to are marketing towards a lighter tone and two new offerings of medium and intense are best for medium skin tones and darker ones. I like that they are trying to be more inclusive with this launch!

I’m pretty hyped about this release as I never thought of myself as a big Pillow Talk lover until I purchased more items from the collection! The more I tried, the more I liked it. Below I’m wearing the Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Quad and Pillow Talk original Cheek to Chic shade! I’m looking forward to checking out the intense version of the blush! As well as the original lipstick!

One of the more interesting products I’m wanting to purchase would be the new eyeliner which looks like a gorgeous pink burgundy that would be flattering combined with the new Instant Palette or quad.

They really expanded the collection with so many new offerings for Spring 2020.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Spring 2020 Collection is available now.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon ($11.99) is a new matte lip crayon available in 18 permanent shades that launched with the L’Oreal Spring 2020 Collection. I am so deeply impressed that L’Oreal not only released these new Matte Lip Crayons as a permanent part of their collection but also, in a whopping 18 shades. I mean, to have the very nerve to launch such a dry, draggy formula not only as permanent product but also in 18 shades that people may just be hesitant to buy after hearing about the formula sure is an accomplishment ha..!

But I digress because maybe just maybe this could be a Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink kind of thing where everyone LOVES and adores the formula and I’m the oddball that doesn’t. Someone insert one of those shrugging shoulder emojis right here.

I didn’t love Infallible Matte Lip Crayon but it has an interesting formula with some pros and one major con. Keep in mind this formula shouldn’t be compared or likened to the LOreal Colour Riche Le Matte Lipcolour Stick that launched a few years ago. This is most definitely very different.

Now I’ll share some of my thoughts and why I think Infallible Matte Lip Crayons have some interesting good points but if you’re wanting a lip crayon I’d likely recommend going with the much better formulated Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon that launched last Summer.

Ulta Radiant Rose Lip Oil Tastes Like My Grandfather’s Wine

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
1 stars out of 5

Ulta Radiant Rose Lip Oil ($10) is a new lip oil infused with chamomile oil with Aloe Vera Extract and Avocado Oil to hydrate lips. I always have hit or miss situations with lip oils! They commonly come start popping up during Spring launches just after the Holidays have passed. I guess brands realize some of us are suffering from a cold and have badly chapped lips or we’re going through a long hard Winter and our lips are paying for it. So, yeah, now is a common season for the lip oils to start popping up! As I said, I always have a hit or miss situation with these formulas but mostly miss. They aren’t always hydrating enough for me and are basically just a thinner lipgloss that offer a ton of shine but no real long term moisture benefits.

But I never give up on them! I always migrate towards new formulas to see if they might help my chronically prone dry lips. That’s what led me to the purchase of Ulta Radiant Rose Lip Oil!

Milani Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush Blends Easily With a Hint of Tint But Is It Enough?

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Milani Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush ($9.99) is a new gel blush that launched in six permanent shades with the Milani Spring 2020 Collection. It seems like a lot of brands are grabbing onto the success of Glossier’s Cloud Paint this season! Along with Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush there’s also Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush that launched with the Maybelline Spring 2020 Collection as well as Covergirl Clean Fresh Cream Blush that launched with Covergirl’s earlier Spring 2020 releases.

Maybe we’ll see more gel blushes and liquid blushes pop up as we head into Summer as well. We’ll see if this trend continues!

Gel blush is always a nice option for natural looks. It’s also typically really easy to apply and blend plus it wears well on drier skin as it doesn’t adhere to drier areas the way a powder would. The same holds true for those with larger, visible pores as the gel won’t accentuate those issues the way a powder would. Gels also tend to wear longer and stronger than a powder.

Let’s take a look at my review and swatches of Milani Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush below.

Etude House Hershey Makeup Collection for Valentine 2020

The Etude House Hershey’s Makeup Collection that includes two Hershey’s Eyeshadow Palettes arrives for Valentine 2020 in a few short days. The global release is set for January 24th which means we should see these pop up online at YesAsia.com, Ebay.com, etc….soon after!

You might recall Etude House teamed up with KitKat last year to bring us two KitKat inspired by eyeshadow palettes. Each palette came with a KitKat Bar, makeup bag, and an eyeshadow palette. It was a rather cute early Spring/Valentine’s Day Collection that had the Internet going crazy!

The Etude House Hershey’s Collection is a bit more elaborate as not only will we get two Hersey’s Eyeshadow Palettes, one chocolate and one white chocolate, we’ll also get some matching velvety lip colors as well. It’s not yet confirmed whether the items will be sold as a set or if the lip products are sold separately. This sort of reminds me of the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette and Too Faced Matte Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow that launched for Holiday/Black Friday 2016.

This isn’t Etude House’s first foray into the realms of desserts and chocolates. They’ve released a Sweet Recipe Collection a few years ago that included some really cute offerings like the Chocolate Smudge Liner that was shaped like a Valentine’s Day chocolate as well as the Sweet Recipe Chocolate Eyes Palette and Sweet Recipe Chocolate Highlighter both of which were shaped like chocolate bars. They also had a Give Me Chocolate round of Eyeshadow Palettes that were shaped like chocolate bars!

There’s just something about chocolate and fruit makeup collection isn’t there?

I, for one, am looking forward to the launch of the Etude House Hershey’s Makeup Collection. I sure hope it isn’t as fumbled as last year’s launch though which sold out very quickly and took ages to restock!
