RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation for Fall 2019

RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation just launched and for those in the know this a retake on their very popular “Un” Cover-Up Concealer. I happen to love cream foundations like this! Anything in a pot has an ewww factor attached to it but for some reason I find cream foundations in a pot appealing. Maybe because I like to dab some on my hand and swirl on my brush in it and buff it on. Potted foundation always seem to have a thicker, creamier formula that buffs on so well.

The new “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation has the same qualities as the original formula and provides full but natural coverage and can be used by any skin type. It contains Coconut and Burita oils to keep skin well hydrated.

They launched the formula in 16 shades same as the original formula. I’m curious how they can improve upon the original formula though as it was always one that multitasked as both concealer and a foundation. The price is $52 for 1 oz where as the original formula was $36 for 0.20 oz. Honestly, if this is the same exact texture and coverage I’d probably just stick with the original but the remains to be seen perhaps “Un” Cover-Up Cream Foundation brings something entirely new to the table. I do like that they say it mimics your natural skin for a smooth, flawless finish! That sounds very appealing!

That being said comparing the ingredients you’ll note that the foundation has a little bit more of a complex blend.

Philosophy Holiday 6 Piece Full-Size Shower Gel Set Deal

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m pretty excited to see the Philosophy Holiday 6-Piece Shower Gel Set pop up on qvc.com today! It seems like ages since I’ve visited with Philosophy’s 3-in-1 Shower Gels. I used to love the seasonal scents! They always had a limited edition run for Fall, Valentine’s Day, Spring, and most importantly the Holidays would bring a ton of festive scents.

QVC.com has an excellent deal on six x 16 oz bottles of Holiday limited edition seasonal scents available at a great deal that I picked up today. I actually got a set for myself and a second set I was going to break up into smaller gifts for mail girl, the sweet girl behind the counter at Dean & Deluca that always remembers my order, etc…! I can pop one in a bag with a cute little squishy sponge and it makes a nice small gift for someone. I know it seems like it’s a bit early to shop but the Holidays will be upon us before you know it!

The set includes Snow Angel, Pink Chocolate Macaroon, Warm Apple Cider, Vanilla Chocolate Crumble, Sugar Plum Fairy (a fond favorite!), and White Peach.

The set is 59.82 or 3 Easy Pays of $19.94 plus $3.50 shipping.

You can snag this deal now at qvc.com.

Enjoy!

High-End and Budget Friendly Beauty Picks at Walmart

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Betcha didn’t know you can buy both your favorite budget friendly beauty brands and higher-end ones at Walmart. They do! Now you can get your favorite Smashbox Lipstick or your beloved Wet n Wild Blush all in one place! Walmart.com carries a wide assortment of higher-end beauty brands like Clarins, Smashbox, NARS, Peter Thomas Roth, and more. And of course, all your favorite budget beauty brands as well like L’Oreal, Wet n Wild, Maybelline, and more! And let’s not forget some you might not even know they had like Kokie!

I’m one of those people that’s always on the fence about whether or not I actually like the idea of shopping both prestigious and budget beauty in one place. As I get older though I realize a one stop shop sure is helpful. Like, you ever go to Trader Joe’s and you’re like, “Damn! I gotta go to Whole Foods after this!”. It’s like you can never do an full shop at TJs and you’re always needing a few things more from some other store. It’s such a pain! I guess that’s why I’ve sort of embraced the idea of shopping for both higher-end beauty and budget in the same place. It just makes life a lot easier. Granted, Walmart doesn’t carry these brands in store sadly! But maybe one day!? Plus they provide 1-2 day shipping so items get to you fast! I ordered from walmart.com on Monday and I got my order on Wednesday! That’s some fast shipping!

I’ve teamed up with Walmart a few times the last few months to celebrate their “Here for Every Beauty” campaign that celebrates over 327 different million faces that make up America. This is a paid sponsorship with them however, the thoughts and opinion Im sharing are all my own. I decided to do the collaboration because I truly believe that beauty is all inclusive and Im happy to support a brand or in this case a store that also, feels that way. The beauty world has become more and more inclusive in the last year or two inviting all colors, all races, all ages, all sizes to enjoy. I’ve always felt that the beauty community I’ve created here on Musings of a Muse has been an accepting one. It’s accepted me with all my flaws as I’m not a model, I wear too much blush, and I can’t blend eyeshadow for my life. Thank you for that. Now if the rest of the beauty world and beauty brands felt the same we’d live in a rather great world. But they are making changes and good ones at that. I’m happy that Walmart actually took a stand on this by offering a wide selection of products for all types of people no matter their race, age, or sex. A beauty world that doesn’t make us feel excluded is a good beauty world.

For my collaboration this month I decided to pick up some higher-end beauty picks and some budget ones too! A mix up of items that will get you through the Fall season!

Here’s some of my higher-end and budget friendly beauty picks you can get at walmart.com!
