Spring in the air! Sort of. It’s still quite cold in New York and apparently snow is being served up tomorrow but I’m all about Spring beauty and makeup. And like any good beauty junkie I have a Sephora wishlist about a mile long!
You know I’m a complete fragrance junkie right? I’m gagging to try out the new Moschino Toy 2 Perfume. I have the original and it goes all dark coconut on my skin! I’m hearing Two 2 is a cleaner, fresher fragrance! I was going to blind buy it but decided I’d race on over to Sephora to check it out this weekend! I also want to try out the newest Viktor & Rolf Magic scented called Salty Flower. It sounds like a lush, warm floral with notes of Frangipani Flower and Cashmeran!
I know many of you aren’t so into the fragrance aspect of beauty so I created a fun Spring list of makeup worth purchasing for Spring looks! One of the items being the amazing, incredible Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette. Oh my god it’s wonderful and renewed to excitement in makeup. Bobbi Brown teams up with fashion designer Ulla Johnson for Spring 2019 to bring us a selection of pretty nude pinks for the warmer weather ahead.
One of the most interesting pieces in this collection is the new Bobbi Brown x Ulla Johnson The Esme Cheek Palette ($40) which contains a cream highlighter, a pot rouge shade, and a mini extra face oil. All of the items are housed in a pink compact. The interesting part is the addition of the mini Extra Face Oil. The idea is to give you a pop of glow-y, dewy color. Why is it releases like this are what I need to remind that I already own facial oil and could be doing this myself with products I have at home already? I mean, I have tons of Pot Rouge! It’s my favorite cream blush and of course, I’m drowning in a variety of facial oils. The thought of combining the two didn’t cross my mind until just now. I thought it was rather innovative to include all these items in one palette so you can get a dewy glow easily. You’ll start out by applying the Pot Rouge on the apples of your cheeks, tap a little of the Cream Glow Highlighter into cheekbones, and apply a hint of the extra face oil on top for a hint of dewiness!
