Gee, I Wish I Remember Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific
Does anyone remember Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific Shampoo and Conditioner? I didn’t grow up in the 70’s but I always remember my sister talking about how my grandmother used it and something called Small Miracle on her hair.
I do remember Teen Spirit Shampoo and Conditioner. I almost forgot about it but I have awesome readers who bring back great memories and we had a discussion a few months ago about it in the comment box! I still might use Teen Spirit Deodorant but I didn’t just admit that.
You know, it’s a weird thing, I always used to roll my eyes whenever my mom and dad would talk about how great stuff was back in the day! They’ll start in about some product that was so much better in the 60’s and how it was cheaper or it performed better or tasted better.
I’m reaching a age that I find myself doing that too. There are certain products that just don’t really perform they way they once did. Urban Decay Primer Potion, Urban Decay Eyeshadows, Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner, there are so many different products I felt performed so much better 10 plus years ago. Even chocolate like Kit Kats tasted so much better 20 years ago! It feels like formulas are so mediocre nowadays…!
Anyway, I digress!
I am an absolutely obsessed with the Vermont Country Store. When the catalog comes in the mail I stop everything I’m doing, sit on the couch, and slowly flip through the pages savoring the descriptions on each item. I’ve purchased countless things from them over the years and recommended them in my Fun Places You Probably Never Shopped Beauty and Makeup From. They carry a few hair care products one of which is Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific Shampoo and Conditioner.
