L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm ($44) is a new balm-to-oil cleanser created enriched with Immortelle essential oil which is known for it’s anti-aging benefits as well as Vitamin E. Cleansing Balms is one of the greatest skincare joys! It breaks down and removes makeup easily especially hard to remove eye makeup or waterproof BB Cream and foundations. I was quite excited that L’Occitane decided to join the current cleansing balm trend and add one to their their Immortelle Skincare Collection.

L’Occitane is currently quite busy extending their skincare collection and many of their latest cleansers are turning into keepers. I recently tried their Peony Petal Cleansing Oil and was thrilled with the formula. It’s been added to my stable skincare collection and Immortelle Divine Cleansing Balm is headed in the same direction.

Dior Origami Blush for Fall 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Dior Origami Blush popped up in a new shade on nordstrom.com’s website this morning. The multi-shade version popped up last year at fashion shows so the new shade arrives right on schedule. This is a far superior version to the original as it doesn’t have the white highlighter portion and is a pure pink-shade of blush which means you’ll get more pop from it compared to the original shade.

I haven’t been keeping up with Doir Japan for quite sometime so don’t quote me but I believe there’s a third shade that launched in Japan as well. I’m wondering if this new shade might have a pretty glow-y finish. It reminds me of a loose Jill Stuart Blush I own!

You can grab the latest Dior Origami Blush now at nordstrom.com.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette Has Me Excited

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette ($75) has a new 12 pan eyeshadow palette launching on 09/20 at 2:30 PM GMT and it has me quite excited. Grouped into trios of three these shades give you options to create a Day Eye, Desk Eye, Date Eye, and Disco Eye look with nude, neutral, and smoky shades of color.

For the past few years Charlotte has brought us a few variations of her popular Instant Look in a Palette. It’s a refreshing change to see them doing a more traditional eyeshadow palette. It looks like a nice classic eye palette to create some easy, daily looks without a ton of no how. I always appreciate palettes like this because my skill level is next to zero when it comes to good eyeshadow looks, combining, and contrasting shades. This really takes a lot of the guess work out of doing an eye look.

The price tag is a bit high but Charlotte’s line has never been cheap and 99% of the time the quality is well worth the price you’re paying for it.

I’m adding this one to my wish list.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette is available at nordstrom.com.
