HomeWorx by Harry Slatkin Deluxe 18 oz 4-Wick Candles Fall or Holiday Candle QVC Today’s Special Value (TSV) has arrived and it’s stupid amazing! So stupid amazing I ordered both sets they have available.

So, here’s a refresher if you didn’t read by prior Homeworx Ice Cream Candles post.

Harry Slakin, godfather of all things beautifully scented, at one time worked with in collaboration with Bath & Body Works to create their incredible fragrance collection. Many of the scents you likely know and love that are still available at Bath & Body Works to this day even though Harry is no longer working with them to create these blends.

Last year, much to the candle world’s excitement, Harry brought his new Homeworx Candles to QVC and they are amazing. For the past few years, Bath & Body Works has been slacking a little with their candle selection which makes it extra nice to indulge in Harry’s massive candles that have excellent throw, wax pooling, and incredible burn. Not to mention is candles are a steal as is this Today’s Special Value that debuts on QVC on July 15 (it won’t ship until September due to the very warm weather).

This set includes 3, 3! 3 18 oz 4-wick candles. 3 of them. I just have to get that out there. They are HUGE (burn time between 33-55 hours)! Bath & Body Works Candles are 14.5 oz in size and have 3-wicks. These are twice the size with 4-wicks so you can imagine the throw. I picked up the Ice Cream Candles from the Homeworx Collection a few short months ago and they were fantastic which is why I didn’t hesitate to grab this TSV.

You have a choice of Fall or Holiday Scents (I got both!) and you get 3 candles for $49 plus free shipping!
Holiday:

  • Mistletoe Magic: black currant, pine needles, fir balsam, and pomelo
  • Winter Hearth: crisp juniper, warmed brandy, incense, and icy spruce
  • Frozen Balsam: fir balsam, frosted ozone, bergamot, oak moss, and evergreen

Harvest:

  • Pumpkin Caramel Corn: buttery crackle caramel, pumpkin spice, and fresh popped corn
  • Autumn Pinecone: fallen pinecones, red oak, fresh eucalyptus, and juniper berry
  • Harvest Leaves: spiced pumpkin, mandarin, cranberry, fir balsam, and applewood

Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Review

Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Eau de Toilette is the brand’s newest fragrance that’s a re-take on their very popular Fresh Cream Perfume that everyone loves so much. QVC had a Today’s Special Value with the scent and I wasn’t going to purchase the set as I felt like I didn’t need everything that came with it but in the end I gave in because I realized what a great deal it was.

The set includes a huge 32 oz 3-in-1 Shower Gel, a 16 oz Glazed Body Souffle, and a 4 oz fragrance. I just felt like I have way too much shower gel and getting yet another massive bottle felt very unnecessary to me.

Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere launched about two weeks ago on Ulta’s website but I haven’t had the chance to sniff it in store as none of the stores I went to had a bottle. It must have been faith that during the Today’s Special Value launch I located a bottle at Ulta and was able to finally sniff it. I fell in love with it but a 2 oz bottle was $40 bucks. I didn’t hesitate splurging the extra $20 and grabbing the QVC set as I got a 4 oz bottle plus the two extra body care items. Even if I don’t need yet another shower gel I’m still happy to have hauled this was it was a great deal plus I’m really, really loving this scent.

Bath & Body Works Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds is a new Summer 2018 fragrance available in the Fine Fragrance Mist formula as well as the regular round up of shower gel, body lotion, etc….! I’m likely so attracted to this blend because it reminds me a little bit of scents like Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean and Beach Nights. Some people have gone so far as to call it a dupe of Beach Nights but although smells similar it still manages to stand happily on its own two legs.

Carol’s Daughter Pracaxi Nectar Should Be Your Hair’s Signature Scent

I am currently obsessed with all things Carol’s Daughter Pracaxi Nectar and you should be too. Has anyone tried this yet? It’s freaking amazing. I happened upon Carol’s Daughter Pracaxi Nectar Style Control Gel recently at Target. It was sort of random as I was shopping a restock of my favorite Black Vanilla haircare and Pracaxi Nectar Style Control Gel just happened to be sitting rather lonely-like on the shelf. It was a single tube, nothing else Pracaxi Nectar related around. I feel like it was meant to be that we happened to meet up like this. It, me, an empty hair care aisle. It seemed like kismet.

I sadly couldn’t smell it when I was at Target as it had a little rip off foil on it but I’m rarely disappointed by Carol’s Daughter’s scents and I’ve said time and time again they should bring back some of their fragrances and create some new ones too. Now this doesn’t hold true for Green Supreme. That stuff needs to be tossed into the nearest trash can. I do not want my hair smelling like salad. It’s one of the only Carol’s Daughter’s hair care collections I disliked because the smell was wildly unappealing to me. It’s a fresh green scent but I just can’t see myself wanting my hair to smell like that.

But the Pracaxi Nectar? That I’d buy stock in.
