Urban Decay Moondust Space Cowboy Glitter Eyeshadow Quad ($39) for Holiday 2024 and it’s giving basic. If you recall Urban Decay Rebel Star, Cosmic Craze, and Wild Dipper 24/7 Moondust Eyeshadow were three. limited-edition palettes that launched for Holiday 2023 but the packaging was at least a LITTLE bit better than what we’re getting with the Space Cowboy Glitter Eyeshadow Palette this year. I can’t deny I’m struggling wrapping my head around the fact they want me to spend near $40 on a plastic compact. But some other part of me is like, “OOOOOOO SPARKLY! I WANT IT!”
Here’s the thing. You might feel like I do that this is REALLY basic for Urban Decay which is a brand we associate with bold and if you do feel that way you might be surprised what I’m about to say. I’m placing bets this will sell out. GASP shock WHAT? Yeah, so for some reason or another Moondust Eyeshadows have becoming a viral sensation again. I mean, they’ve always been a really nice formula but at the moment people are sort of discovering them for the first time. Sure, we lived through their release but there’s an audience that hasn’t and that audience will likely sell this little palette out. I place bets this won’t end up on the clearance rack at the end of the Holiday season. It’ll sell out before that.
And sure, I’ll admit, it’s actually really tempting because the shades are very, very pretty! The peachy pink shimmers are really making me want it but I’m just trying to get passed the damn plastic compact before I can take it seriously. You get four shadows which are 0.05 oz each. That’s pretty generous as the full-size shades are 0.06 oz each. So there is a little bang here for your buck.
