Makeup Geek Cosmetics is now available at target.com. I have no idea if they plan to carry the range in stores but as of now a few of Makeup Geek’s popular makeup picks are available on the Target website.

Just yesterday, I was discussing how Sephora and Ulta have been going head to head lately but Target still garners a lot of attention due to the fact they carry unique and niche brands. And now they have Makeup Geek Cosmetics in stock? Well played Target.

This is a well deserved notch in Marlena Stell’s belt as she’s a hard working blogger, youTuber, and influencer for many, many years now. I believe she’s also launching a clothing line shortly as well.

So, anyone who adores Makeup Geek you can now shop it on Target’s site and hopefully soon in stores.

Remember those 4-Color Pens? It was a chubby pen that had little click buttons at the top that magically switched from red, green, blue, to black ink. I remember this was the height of a sophisticated school supply when I was in the 4th grade. I mean, we were barely out of using pencils and here’s this kid that comes waltzing into class with a pen that used actual ink but wait, not only was it an ink pen it was an ink pen with not one, not two, not three, but four different shades of ink! What magic and wizardry was this!?

My god it was wonderful and I remember begging my mom for one (and also a Sanrio Hello Kitty Pencil Box as well as a magnetic cube that held paperclips because the boy I sat next to, Zachary, had one which he confiscated from his dad’s office!). I imagine this must be where my wild obsession with stationary and office supplies began.

You have to ask yourself why someone in the makeup world hasn’t taken on a packaging like this? A single barrel that holds your eyeliner, lip liner, brow pencil, etc in one clickable pen. Wouldn’t that be clever?

Oh wait! Someone has created this already! Clarins in fact! Last year, Clarins Harmony 4-Colour All-in-One Pen launched in Europe but I never did hear about the US launch until now!

Maison Margiela Replica Memory Box is a set of ten 0.04 oz perfume sample mists from the original line of scents. Finally! This is long overdue and very welcome indeed.

As someone who adores Maison Margiela’s fragrance line I couldn’t be happier that they are available in a more affordable and travel-friendly version now. The brand’s line isn’t exactly cheap with prices starting at $126 per bottle. This set gives you an easy way to enjoy a variety of the fragrances from the line without splurging on a full-size bottle you might not like. I think the set is long overdue since now most Sephora stores started carrying the fragrances in store so you can easily test them out yourself.

This set would be way more welcome a year or two ago when Maison Margiela’s wasn’t as readily available in stores and blind buying was the only option that was available.

The scents you get in this set are some of my favorites like At the Barber’s, By the Fireplace (to me this smells like Bath & Body Works Toasted Marshmallow Candle), and Jazz Club! As well as the every popular Lipstick On! You also get:

• Beach Walk
• Music Festival
• Flower Market
• Promenade

I must admit if they included the Filter and Blur Fragrances in this set it would be perfect in every single way. But as it is? It’s still an awesome and brilliant purchase that’s a must have if you haven’t tried this niche house before.

Smashbox + Vlada Prismatic Pearl Petal Metal Highlighter is available today as a Sephora Exclusive at sephora.com. As you know, the Smashbox Petal Metal Highlighter launched in two shades last week which are both available at Ulta.com but Sephora got dibs on an exclusive shade called Prismatic Pearl.

Now, I’m not a highlighter girl by any means as I’ve said time and time again but I admit I ordered both of the original shades when they launched at Ulta thanks to that 20% off coupon. I’m quite excited to try them out! And I’m being good and not picking up Prismatic Pearl until I try the two that are on their way to me.

The good news is, if you’re a Sephora BI Member your 15% off starts on April 20% and maybe you can score this highlighter at a discount! The shade is called a iridescent rose gold but it looks like a duochrome with some reddish shifting. But it’s hard to say as promo images are terrible representations of a color.
