Revlon Kiss Exfoliating Balm Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Revlon Kiss Exfoliating Balm ($5.99) is a new sugar scrub lip balm that launched with the Revlon Fall 2017 Collection recently. This is sort of an extension to the Revlon Kiss Balm Collection so, you’ll likely be able to find it in that permanent display in the future since it isn’t a limited edition product.

I’m seeing a lot of these new lip scrub formula that come in a stick or lip balm style packaging that are meant to be applied and left on unlike traditional scrubs which you wipe off. I don’t really know how I feel about that. It seems convenient enough to swipe on a lip scrub and just go. But on the other hand it sort of seems gross to swipe a scrub on and just leave the dead skin hanging around on your lips?

For example, Revlon Kiss Exfoliating Balm suggests “gently massage in small circles and finks with your favorite lip color”. It’s no great surprise they don’t suggest wiping it off because it seems the norm for lip balm scrubs like this to recommend you apply and go. They are supposed to act as not only an exfoliating product but also as a lip balm that hydrates and preps lips for color.

But again, I’m still somewhat grossed out by doing that.

Benefit The Great BROWnanza Giving It Away for Free

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Benefit The Great BROWnanza! Blockbuster Brow Set ($59) is one of several Benefit Holiday 2017 Sets that’s priced to own as they say. No, seriously, they are practically giving stuff away in this set.

I recently discovered the joy of Gimme Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel but I can’t honestly say that a lot of these items I would use. Hello? Bushy brow girl here! That’s actually one of the reasons Gimme Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel was a pleasant surprise as I typically steer clear of brow powders, paints, and potions since my brows are so full and caterpillar-like. But I started using this after getting a sample and I’m suddenly all, “Wait, why did I never try this before?”

Anyway, here’s the bad news! Benefit The Great BROWnanza isn’t for girls or guys with super full brows that grow quickly.

But the good news is, it’s a dream set for anyone who struggles daily with sparse brows that don’t grow fast and need filling. This literally contains everything and the kitchen sink to groom, fill, and keep brows in tiptop shape.

Here’s what you get!

Finally! The Too Faced Clover Eyeshadow Palette Arrives

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

After much waiting the Too Faced Clover Eyeshadow Palette launched today at toofaced.com. According to launch details the palette is exclusive to their website (I’m somehow not convinced that is true) and contains 18 brand new matte and shimmer shades as well as a how to get the look guide. They are donating $250,000 from sales of the palette to Best Friends Animal Society!

Of you want it, I highly suggest grabbing it as it’ll likely disappear in a few hours!
