Cover FX The Perfect Light Highlighting Palette for Spring 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Cover FX The Perfect Light Highlighting Palette (Medium Deep)

Tired of the incoming flow of highlighters this season? Wait, there’s more! Cover FX The Perfect Light Highlighting Palette for Spring 2017 arrive in two shade sections for lighter and medium to darker complexions. Each palette contains four silky highlighter powders that give you a lit-from-within glow.

Possibly the nicest thing about these palettes is the fact Cover FX created them with a selection of shades that are suitable for light to medium skin tones or medium to deeper ones. Sometimes you’ll get one universal palette that contains maybe one shade that works for you and others that don’t. Commonly highlighters are geared towards medium to deeper tones as well and tend to be a bit warmer for paler or fairer skin. These palettes give you two different options for either lighter or deeper tones.

These are $42 each and you can snag them at Sephora.com!

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray Just Dangerous for Shimmer Addicts!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Remember that one time I told you that illuminating facial sprays would be a thing soon? Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray ($31) proves my theory that everyone and perhaps their mom will be releasing some sort of glowing makeup setting spray in the coming months.

Ok, so, I’m like the total nay sayer here because I’m thinking of myself in 7th grade. That was the year that I discovered boys could be more than just your friend, became a Scholastic drug addict, and had a thing for all over glitter hair and body spray.

I don’t see the point in setting my makeup with a spray that gives my skin a glow. I’m picturing a ton of shimmer or glitter or mica or sparkle all over the place. Isn’t the point of highlighter to accent certain areas on your face but not your entire complexion!? Let’s face it, I’ve always readily admitted I’m no expert at powder highlighter because I’m heavy handed. Imagine taking that powder and putting it in a spray bottle? I’d be misting myself madly. You can’t give sparkle crack in a bottle to a self proclaimed shimmer lover and ask them to just lightly mist themselves with it. I’ll be spraying it everywhere including under my arms.

Not to mention it seems odd to me to mist highlighter all over my face. But who knows, this could work and it could potentially deliver a luminous finish to your skin that looks amazing. I have doubts though as they recommend it as a face and body mist that gives an intense glow.

Mmmhmmm watch me overdue it.

Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray is available now at Sephora.com.
Do you trust yourself enough to use it?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Remember when BB Cream for your hair was a thing? That happened, true story! Micellar Water and Exfoliating Scrubs for your hair are totally a thing at the moment. Yup, of course, the hair industry has to cash in on the wild success of micellar water and make it into something for your hair. Also, on hair trend at the moment are exfoliating scrubs which act to exfoliate your scalp and de-grease it while removing build up and flakes. People, Lush has being doing this for over ten years with their Big Shampoo but it’s nice to see some new options out there. Let’s hope they don’t turn your hair into straw the way Lush’s formula does.

Let’s take a look at these new products.
