Burt’s Bees Glossy Lipstick is a new line of moisturizing lipstick with a glossy finish that contains raspberry and moringa oil as well as mimosa flower wax to provide long-lasting moisture and beautiful color to lips.

As you know, Burt’s Bees already has a full line of color cosmetics but for Fall 2017 they launched a selection of six shades with a glossy finish to add to their permanent line.

This formula and finish is a refreshing change from the constant matte lipsticks we keep seeing!

L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte Lipstick is a new matte finish lipstick collection available in 16 shades that launched earlier this Summer in time for the Fall 2017 season. As you know I’m not a matte lipstick kind of girl but I decided to pick up two of these none the less to review and swatch up here on the blog.

It’s a sad day as Lush announced what they’ll be discontinuing in 2017 (effective immediately or as soon as products sell out). Like any brand, Lush has to discontinue products in order to make room for new items. It’s a sad but necessary evil.

If you like any of these items I suggest stocking up and keeping the perishables in your fridge 🙂 I wouldn’t go too crazy hoarding them away as Lush does expire at some point but at least you have an idea of what will be gone for good and what you can enjoy while it is still around!

L Brands owns both Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works which in fact makes them sister brands. I walked in a Bath & Body Works once and they had the shelves lined with Pink products. I was like, wait, where am I again? I was pretty surprised as I didn’t realize they were owned by the same company at the time.

It makes sense though when you think about as both concentrate heavily on their bath and body collection and they do have similarly packaged items in that line.

However, they couldn’t be less alike in other ways.
