I have quite a large fragrance collection that I absolutely love and cherish. I’m a huge lover of fragrance of any kind be it high-end, niche, or budget-friendly Etsy picks. To me it’s the perfect and ultimate compliment to my personality.
I do fail miserably at displaying my collection though.
Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara hits the beauty air waves for Fall 2017 with a formula that the brand promises will create super-long, volumized lashes that are sex-proof. I didn’t make that last part up.
I’m actually probably one of the few people that wasn’t excited about Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara because I haven’t met a mascara from UD yet that I actually like. I remember when Urban Decay Perversion Mascara launched and THAT excited me because as a fan of their Perversion Eyeliner I felt for sure the mascara would knock my socks clean off. It didn’t.
And sadly, neither does Troublemaker Mascara.
I purchased some Bath & Body Works Whipped Body Butter in the new Fall 2017 fragrances. I’m not a huge Bath & Body Works Body Lotion fan as I find it a bit tacky and sticky but I ended up trying and like the Whipped Body Butter formula in stores so I hauled a few to go along with some of the fragrance mists I picked up. Because lord knows, if you don’t layer you won’t smell much of anything at all when it comes to Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist.

E.L.F. Cosmetics jumps on the Too Faced Peaches & Cream marketing scheme with a new release daily for the next 30 days. In two days, the brand will launch a brand new product daily on their website at www.elfcosmetics.com.
I imagine this is their Fall 2017 Collection or perhaps just additions to their permanent collection. It sounds exciting but one major launch would work out better for me as shipping on their website isn’t exactly cheap. Some might argue to just wait for 30 days and do one big haul at the end but E.L.F. tends to sell out of newly launched products quickly lately and the restock is slow.
So, yet again, I find myself like a hamster in a wheel jumping through hoops to purchase makeup.
On the upside, starting tomorrow there’s 50% off site wide using promo code CELEBRATE (ends August 31st)! That might make you feel a little less irritated about the “launch a day” marketing technique!
Set your reminders and hope for something so good we’ll forget about the fact we can only get our hands on a single new release a day.
