Fall it starting to leak into stores! If you head to Michael’s, Bath & Body Works, and Target you’ll notice that autumn is slowing trickling into stores. It’s not full in your face quite yet but it’s there as a reminder that in a few short weeks the best season of all will arrive.

E.L.F. Hydrating Gel Mist Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

E.L.F. Hydrating Gel Mist ($8) is currently rocking my skincare routine’s world. This new gel to liquid facial mist quite reminds me of my beloved Hadanomy Deep Moisturizing Mist (Japanese not Korean) BUT not a replacement for it. Sorry, E.L.F.! Hadanomy Deep Moisturizing Mist remains my holy grail.

Actually Hydrating Gel Mist is testimony to how Korean skincare has so heavily influenced the Western market. This is a fairly common product you’d find in from a variety of Korean brands I’ve even reviewed some of them in the past like Mizon Essence Mist Twilight. The formula is like having your favorite essence in a bottle that you can mist on your face.

J. Cat H20 Fresh Dewy Hydrating Face Primer Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

J. Cat H20 Fresh Dewy Hydrating Face Primer ($7.99) is swooping to the rescue to prep, prime, and hydrate your dry skin so your foundation will look smooth, even, and won’t cling to those drier patches on your face.

One of my pet peeves is have a conversation with someone and noticing they have makeup on because it’s cakey and clinging to drier areas. Girl, PREP! Prep, prep, prep until you can’t prep no more and your fingers bleed. I know, I get it, I have drier skin and patchier areas around my face but you’d never know it because I prep until I can’t preps no more. Typically after I apply my foundation and blush I switch from my vanity mirror to my Simplehuman Mirror to make sure that nothing is clinging or caking up on my face. I want the smoothest, softest, most even application on my skin that looks natural and makeup-less.

That’s where a good hydrating moisturizer and facial primer comes into play.

J. Cat H20 Fresh Dewy Hydrating Face Primer has you covered in the facial primer department and the budget friendly one too at under $8 bucks.

Bath & Body Works Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion Are $5 Bucks in Stores And You Need Them!

Against my better judgement I ended up going to dinner with a friend last night and following up with a stop at Bath & Body Works and which point we hauled ALL the Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion! Bath & Body Works Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion is on sale for $5 bucks in stores (the new shower jellies are also $5) so, I mean really, how could we resist? Keep in mind they are $16.50 each regularly!

I’m not sure if it was last year or the year before but they introduced Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion in a scent called Malibu something. I remember it well because it sold out fast and I was only able to get my hands on a single tube. I was quite disappointed because I ended up loving this formula!

You probably already know that I don’t really love Bath & Body Works Body Lotions because I find them so sticky. But they are a necessary evil if you want their fragrance mists to last a little longer as layering is key for linger. I enjoyed the Aqua Cool Aloe Lotion formula because it has this quick to absorb gel formula that’s cooling and doesn’t leave me sticky.

Bath & Body Works Reformulated Hand Soap With Coconut Oil

I broke my no ban yesterday and headed to Bath & Body Works to buy candles. Thankfully I walked out with only two! While there the sales rep told me they are reformulating their hand soap with coconut oil. She got a little busy so I was unable to question her further about this but I headed online and right now some of the bottles are reading “with Vitamin A, B, and E”. I’m unsure if the hand soap coconut oil formulation is a one off or if they’ll be keeping it in all their permanent and newest releases. A few years ago they dropped the antibacterial from their line of hand soaps which was likely in compliance with the FDA ruling.

I hoard Bath & Body Works Hand Soaps because I compulsively wash my hands. I deal with clients all day, I’m shaking hands constantly, so, sure I want to wash my hands after I’ve touched one to many sweaty palms. Can’t blame a girl right? I also hoard them because I generally like using them. I enjoy the foaming ones because they lather up nicely and they smell really great. I’ve been known to pick up a few of an LE scent if I know it is about to disappear.

Some people hate them though…
