Do You Re-gift?

About a year and a half ago, I had sent some gifts to a friend of mine and within a few months I noticed one of the items I had gifted appeared on another friend’s Instagram account. I mean, you can’t jump to conclusions but I’m almost 99% sure the photo of the item posted that was something I had gifted and the person I gifted it to had re-gifted it to another friend of ours. I felt a little hurt. Eep! Am I wrong? Am I too sensitive? It wasn’t exactly a personal gift but I had spent time and money to gift the items and to see them regifted to someone else hurt my feelings a bit.

So, I’m utterly sensitive about re-gifting. Do you re-gift? I don’t, I won’t, it’s a bit of a touchy issue for me for some reason!

Sonia Kashuk Closes Twitter Account But Why?

I’m sad to say Sonia Kashuk is closing their Twitter account but the the question on everyone’s mind might be, “But why?” Today, the brand tweeted out that they are closing their Twitter account but their products are still available at Target. Hmmm…

That’s terribly odd wouldn’t you say? I hope I’m reading too much into this because as a fond fan of the brand I’d hate to see it disappear completely.

Why do you think they are closing their Twitter account?

I’m getting to Target to stock up my favs JUST in case!

I have so many hopes and dreams for the new NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer! Why? Because I’m wishing and hoping and praying to the makeup gods that it’ll be Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer-like in formula!

I can’t even begin to express how much I miss Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer! So, when I heard that NARS was doing a new Soft Matte Complete Concealer I got terribly excited about that maybe, just maybe, it would offer the same brilliant coverage and fluffy texture as Maybelline’s long gone formula.
