I picked up Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28) recently because I kind of enjoyed the no-nonsense Milk Makeup Coverage Duo. It’s a handy little product that contains a duo of concealers in both a cream and fluid formula. Granted, it’s not incredible pigmentation or coverage but it’s a nice travel buddy for quick application and natural coverage.

Now, I’d like to say what led me to the purchase of Flex Concealer was my like of the Coverage Duo but that wasn’t it at all. The “flex” formula was what grabbed me. This is one of those techy concealers like Glossier Stretch Concealer. Clueless about the flex portion of the concealer? They are just referencing the fact that the formula moves and bends with your skin which in turn prevents it from creasing.

If you’ve a long time beauty lover you’ve likely tried a lip powder at some point in your makeup life! Last year, Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate Lips took the high-end world by storm but this year the new Clinique Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder ($19.50) allows you to embrace the trend at a far cheaper price tag.

These come housed in a pen that has a cushion dip. The powder formula is a matte finish pigment that gives a lips a bold blast of color which won’t feather, migrate, or bleed. Add a little gloss for a shiny, glossy pigmented pout.

P.S. Happy Monday! I’m busy at work and also sneaking in catch ups of Comic Con. I’m so sad I didn’t go this year. Booooo! Anyone attend? I’m also so sad there wasn’t a Sherlock panel. God knows when we’ll see the return of Sherlock with Moff working on Dracula now and BC being so busy.

I am excited for Stranger Things Season 2 though! Looks damn brilliant. American Horror Story looks pretty interesting as well this year!

My hair smells pretty courtesy the new Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus On-The-Go Conditioning Hair Fragrance! How many times have I said I wish Shea Moisture would introduce some sort of body mist or perfume? They have some incredibly pretty fragrances that they used in their hair and body care collection but they are lacking a fragrance mist or perfume. Sure, they released that line of Beauty Hack Fragrance Oils but those aren’t quite what I want.

None the less, lately they have been stepping up their skincare game and they have been introducing a lot of new products so I have hopes at some point they’ll tackle a fragrance category.

But for now, I’ll settle for this yummy Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus On-The-Go Conditioning Hair Fragrance as it least my hair will smell pretty.

Bare Minerals Bare Pro Performance Wear Liquid Foundation ($34) is the latest liquid foundation to arrive from the brand in time for the Fall 2017 season. I always feel slightly odd when I see a liquid or cream foundation from Bare Minerals. It’s just not their thing is it? But it has become their thing that’s for sure as at this point they have released several cream and liquid foundations that have become staple products for lovers of Bare Minerals.
