Jerrod Blandino might have just spilled the beans on a new Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Eyeshadow Palette that’s in the works for Summer or perhaps Fall 2017. In a recent Instagram post he shared an image of a cathedral window shaped palette that appears to pay home to 22 shades of eyeshadow. I’m assuming it’ll be called Saint and Sinner due to the S and S that shows in the photo but the rest of the name is hidden. Considering Kat has plans to relaunch her Saint and Sinner Fragrance line this isn’t a bit assumption to make.

It’s that time of the year when mascara everything starts flooding the drugstores. L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is actually a pretty old release now for Canadians as this little guy got released a several weeks ago in Canada but for those of in the US it’s all new.

Now, it deserves mentioning I’m not a L’Oreal Voluminous fan girl so, Lash Paradise doesn’t have me rolling around in fits of joy! But eh, I’m always up for trying a new mascara formula even if I am a bit of drugstore mascara snob!

Some of the newest Maybelline Summer 2017 releases are popping up at amazon.com like Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Lipgloss, Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter, and Super Stay Matte Ink Lip Color. Not to mention they are reasonably priced too!

As you know, my go to for getting the latest drugstore makeup picks is typically Harmons but they rarely get anything brand new lately until very late in the season. I’m not sure why but it seems very slim pickings at Harmons lately for new drugstore beauty. Sad sigh! However, Amazon.com seems the good to spot for the latest makeup picks. They get things very early plus a lot of it is included with Prime Shipping so, hey, no going to the drugstore anymore just click submit and they’ll arrive at your doorstep within two days if you’re a Prime Member. Sweet!

But…

I’d rather see colors/products in person when it comes to drugstore picks. I can’t try them but sometimes seeing shades in person makes a lot more sense than going by really bad promo photos.

None the less, Maybelline Summer 2017 hasn’t arrived in stores yet so, if you can’t Amazon is the place to snag these goodies.

It’s true Benefit Lemon Aid is discontinued. Can we have a few moments of silence for a most beloved beauty product? Earlier last week, someone emailed me and asked, “Is Benefit Lemon Aid discontinued?” And I was quick to answer, “No, of course not!”

You see, I knew that Benefit was repackaging a lot of their core concealers like Boi-ing and Erase Paste and they have plans on releasing some sort of new eye brightening product. Lord knows, my concealer life started with Boi-ing! I was obsessed with it for a very long time but for some reason it stopped working on my drier eyes and it’s been many years since I used it.

But one my love never, ever died for Lemon Aid. It’s a cult product that I honestly never dreams that Benefit would discontinue.
