Well, nothing stays sacred in the beauty industry for long especially if E.L.F. Cosmetics has anything to say about it. E.L.F. just shared a sneak peek of a Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm dupe on their Instagram. It appears to be a click up lipgloss, lipstick, or lip balm that’s obviously going to be some sort of dupe for the very popular Maracuja Juicy Lip Balms. We can’t say we didn’t see it coming considering NYX just dropped Fat Oil Slick Click Vegan Lip Balm! Are you surprised NYX beat E.L.F. to the punch? Because I know I am. Now I’m waiting for the rest of the drugstore world to catch on with this trend as I’m all about Tarte’s formula. I liked the NYX ones but Tarte still reigns supreme for me. Will E.L.F.’s version do the most for less?

Spring 2024 Makeup Collections are slowly trickling in but E.L.F. already has two highly viral products on their hands already for the season in the form of Camo Hydrating CC Cream and Camo Blush. Camo Blush is a big old nod to Rare Beauty’s viral sensation Soft Pinch Blush and Camo Hydrating CC Cream is def an It Cosmetics dupe. I liked the CC Cream. It’s pigmented, very light, and lightly hydrating. I’m not a fan of the Camo Liquid Blush though! I have a review upcoming shortly which explains why. Stay tuned! E.L.F. can be a hit or miss experience for me sometimes.

I do have high hopes for this new Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm dupe they have upcoming for Spring 2024. If I were to take a guess they’ll likely launch it in five to eight shades and it will be around $8-$10 per shade. We’ll have to wait and see if I’m right! I will say I’m not a fan of the packaging. It’s a bit too old school E.L.F. for me. Don’t you agree?

No word on when this launches but I suspect we’ll either see some more news Thursday or even this coming Sunday as the New Year starts to ring in. I’ll keep you updated!

Spring is coming and Beloved has a new collection on the way to celebrate. The new Beloved Strawberries & Lemonade Collection is a new, limited-edition launch featuring body care and home fragrance in a tart, sweet strawberry lemonade vanilla scent! Yup, vanilla! This could be very interesting! So far the collection is available in hand wash and hand cream, a candle, body wash, and body mist! I was disappointed there wasn’t a scrub or body butter but perhaps that’s on the way? I recently fell in loved with the Beloved Body Scrub formula after hauling the very delicious Fall 2023 Collection in the Coffee Bean and Oat Milk Latte scent! They make a damn good scrub that’s very moisturizing!

I wouldn’t have chosen Strawberry Lemonade for a Spring fragrance as it sounds more Summer but hey, I’m here for anything sweet and fruity. You know your girl loves her sweet and fruity fragrances. Anyone remember when Philosophy Pink Lemonade came out a few hundred years ago? How I miss Philosophy Seasonal releases!

Beloved has a few new scents making their way to Target for Spring but the Strawberries & Lemonade Collection definitely caught my eye! Beloved Strawberries & Lemonade Collection is available now on Target’s website. Anyone sniff it yet?

Tis the season for skiing! We’re headed upstate shortly for a ski/snowboard weekend in the Catskills. It’s true. There’s a new, limited-edition Native x Girl Scouts Cookies Collection featuring Girl Scout Cookie scented body washes, deodorants, shampoo, conditioner, and more. Last year, just in time for Valentine’s Day the Native Candy Shop Collection landed with sweet scents like Gummy Bears, Sour Berry Belts, and more but this year we’re getting Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Cookie, Coconut Caramel, and other yummy cookie inspired scents.

I was pretty disappointed in the Native Fall Escape Fall 2023 Collection. I liked the Native Fall 2022 Collection much better with scents like Toasted Marshmallow and Vanilla and Warm Cider and Cinnamon! And yeah, I was sad Native Holiday 2023 was a rehash of scents from last year like Candy Cane and Sugar Cookie. And sure, Dove’s Holiday Treat Collection made up for that but we had a few duds in that collection like Sugar Cookie! Sigh!

But I knew if I was patient that Native would come back around with something gourmand and here we are for Spring 2024 with this new, delicious Native Girl Scouts Cookies Collection! I dunno if I need Peanut Butter Scented Deodorant but I do want to smell it!

I am so excited for new, limited edition Escada Spring/Summer 2024 Fragrance! Escada Brisa Cubana is the latest scent added to the Escada family and it sounds intriguing! I collect Escada fragrances and I have some super old ones like Ibiza Hippie and Fruit Punch. Sadly, the last few years though the scents have been a bit repetitive. But I have hopes for Brisa Cubana which brings a bit of lime into the mix! By the way, this is one in a series apparently as from my understanding there’s also a new UK release called Nectar de Costa Rica as well! Hopefully we get that in the US. I’m unsure if they’ll be others! Normally, the “Escaping with Escada” series only launches a single fragrance a year for the Spring/Summer season but this year I’m seeing two! Brisa Cubana is classified as a citrus blend with top notes of lime essence, mint oil, and maripossa accord. Lime and mint sounds divine!

Escada Brisa Cubana is available in a travel-spray for $27 or 1 to 3.3 oz size that range in price from $51-$87. I normally blindbuy the larger bottle and I sure wish this came out pre-December 24th as I could have used my 20% off coupon! Oh well! We can’t have it all!
