Tree Hut Cinnamon Dolce Sugar Scrub and Body Wash Review

5 stars out of 5

Run don’t walk and grab the new Tree Hut Cinnamon Dolce Body Scrub and Body Wash that are available exclusively at target.com. Seriously, why are you even still sitting here reading this? Go! Now!

Tree Hut Cinnamon Dolce Sugar Scrub and Body Wash are two, limited-edition releases that launched with the Tree Hut Fall 2023 Collection and are exclusive to Target that are fully deserving of a five-star review. Yeah, I know, I hate exclusives too. I always find it rather challenging to hop from store to store to pick up exclusive beauty releases. Tree Hut started doing this recently when they launched the Moonlight Glow Collection (and I think Holiday 2022 they had a few exclusives at Target too as I recall). I just want to be able to grab a collection and go. I don’t want to hop from store to store seeking how exclusives but I promise Tree Hut Cinnamon Dolce is worth running around for and heck, it might even require a backup!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Water Cream Available Now

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Well, if you always wanted to try out Magic Cream but it was too heavy and greasy for your skin the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Water Cream might be the one for you! Charlotte has introduced a new Magic Water Cream for Fall 2023. I have always struggled with Magic Cream and not understanding why people love it so much. I personally found it greasy and it left me quite shiny. Not to mention it wasn’t the most pleasantly fragranced skincare item in the world. I’d be curious to try the new Magic Water Cream even though I’m not in the oily nor combination skin zone.

This new formula promises to be fragrance-free which already is a plus in my opinion (she should consider releasing the original in a fragrance-free formula as well). It promises to hydrate, refine pores, and reduce redness. It apparently has a Waterlocking Fusion Technology that acts to raps moisture immediately and retains over time for up to 100 hours of hydration (assume they mean it has hyaluronic acid but made it fancy with the “waterlocking” buzz word!). It also contains niacinamide which is really in literally everything lately and a Biopeptide Complex.

A look at the ingredients reveals Shea Butter, Aloe, and Glycerin being the main moisture sources as well as some seed oils. At $100 I did expect more WOW! But this is Charlotte Tilbury and you are paying for that.

Do I really need this? Facts is facts some of Charlotte’s skincare is amazing (I can’t live without her Magic Eye Cream and Night Cream) but not sure Charlotte Tilbury Magic Water Cream is going to do it for me.

How about you?

Amazon Increased Shipping Costs and It Feels Like Everyone Else Has Too

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Amazon has increased its shipping fees for non-Prime Members. Amazon used to have a $25 shipping minimum up till yesterday when they increased that to $35 or more. It’s not a massive change and it’s still very generous to ship an order entirely free that’s $35+ but does it feel like lately free shipping is becoming less and less common and that the threshold to get free shipping is creeping up more and more?

Hello, my name is Isabella and I’m cheap when it comes to shipping. I happen to be one of those weirdos who will willingly purchase a $300 eye cream and proceed to see that I have to pay $5.95 to ship it and cringe in agony. I’ve been conditioned to expect free shipping. I’m SPOILED and want free shipping. It’s odd because I didn’t grow up in a free shipping era. I remember back in the day that free shipping wasn’t a thing and most everywhere was charging anywhere from $5.95 to $9.95 to ship. But when Amazon Prime Membership became a standard in many households so did free shipping across retailers who wanted to compete with Amazon.

Not much has changed here though! I’m still a cheapskate when it comes to paying for shipping! And I’ll stupidly do my best to tip myself into a free shipping zone when I need to. However, today I was being good as I want to try out GXVE Paint It Up Eyeshadow which is 40% off but their shipping threshold is $50 and I just didn’t want or need anything else from the site. So, I safely backed away from my cart and left it. I felt accomplished doing so (let’s see how long I last)!

I think if things continue the way they have we might see more and more retailers increase the shipping threshold or even start to charge for shipping.

Are you okay with paying for shipping? Or is it something you’re frugal about?
