Musings of the Day: Waterless Shower Anyone?

Even the good Doctor needs a little water in his shower!

Remember old dime novel sci-fi novels and flicks that would have occupants of a space shuttle jump into a cubicle for a water-free shower?

I mean the idea sounds rather fab. Jumping into a stall and coming out of it clean as a daisy? Heck, some novels, shows, and movies depict people going in with their clothes on and coming out with new clothes and a freshly washed body.

But honestly, I’m all for water. I take a shower in the AM and indulge in a calming, relaxing Lush bath in the evening on cold Fall and Winter nights. Fact is, I rely on water to wake me up! That splash in my face in the morning is just what I need to get me into work mode because facts is facts I am SO NOT a morning person.

What if water factored out of your shower experience?

Would you be cool with a waterless shower?

Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

The introduction of Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow Pencils had me quite excited. I really navigate towards cream shadows nowadays so I was hyped over these particularly because I had such great success with the Make Up For Ever Aqua Creams.

With the promise of a smudge-proof formula in a long-lasting eye shadow pencil plus some rather great shades of peach (I’m all about peaches) I was well on my way to loving on these.

Take a look!

E.L.F. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

E.L.F. when you do things right you do things right and your new Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder is all kinds of right.

At some point in my makeup life I avoided powder under my eyes in a major way. It was aging me terribly and just wasn’t a good idea all around. I discovered Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and proceeded to hate all over it. At the time I was just starting to have issues with dryness under my eyes and was really struggling with how to treat the issue. Needless to say after I started moisturizing my eyes properly I enjoyed Laura’s powder and later discovered even nicer products for settling my concealer like Skin Food’s Salmon Powder and Benefit Powderflage.

Needless to say when E.L.F. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder launched I was curious. Three dollar setting powder? Mmmm…!

Cynthia Rowley Band-Aid Beach Sport Kit Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Hi, I’m the Muse and I pick at my cuticles and hang nails which results in horror style bloody gushing goodness for all. Thank God for trendy little Band-Aid Kits from Cynthia Rowley!

Not to be gross, but yes, I have a nasty habit of picking at hang nails and ripping at cuticles. It’s not my proudest moment but I do it.

Needless to say I run around with ugly plasters wrapped around my fingers.

No more, now I have a handy little Cynthia Rowley Band-Aid Beach Sport Kit so I can treat those rough cuticles and wrap them in something fancy!

Take a look!
