Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion is a fairly new addition to the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid. Don’t quote me but this one released in Japan about a year and a half ago or so and I’ve been using it daily for about that long now (actually I’m on like my fifth bottle of this stuff). I’m actually one of those rare breeds that likes Hada Labo Rohto Goku-jun Hyaluronic Milky Lotion versus the Clear Moist versions.

But Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion was getting so many ravings across Asian forums I visit as well as many mentions in Japanese magizines that I decided to check it out. This review comes at a great time considering that I just posted my thoughts on the new Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum which I thought was too expensive and too small for the price. So, if you really wanted to add a hyaluronic acid product to your current skincare routine I’d recommend skipping Peter Thomas Roth’s version and going for Hada Labo’s Premium formula. You won’t regret it.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum ($65) is a new, intense serum that contains over 75% hyaluronic acid complex to hydrate and help skin to retain moisture. We’ve all heard that hyaluronic acid attracts and retains over 1,000 times its weight and water. You’ve likely heard this on more than one occasion if you’re a Japanese skincare user as one of their most popular products, Hada Labo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion drives the point home many times over in their commercials and promotions.

Over the last several years, hyaluronic acid has become a highly popular ingredient in the skincare world and why shouldn’t it? It’s an excellent way to hydrate your skin and allow your skin to retain that moisture.

When I heard about Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum I was instantly overjoyed to check this product out for myself.

Here’s my thoughts and review.

Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Essence Perfect for Essence Beginners

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Essence ($18) is a perfect beginner essence if you’re just starting to add an essence to your skincare routine.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Skinfood’s Lettuce & Cucumber Skincare Collection since trying the Lettuce and Cucumber Water Jelly Cream several years ago. It’s always treated my drier skin well by hydrating it and helping it to retain moisture. I especially love it in the Summer when I need something lighter yet still hydrating without being greasy or shiny.

I’ve probably used this essence as long as I have the water jelly cream. It’s always one of my favorite go to essences for AM use and I think it’s a rather nice introduce essence and perfect essence for beginners who are just starting to understand the benefits of using an essence.

Let’s take a look!

Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder ($8) is a mattifying, bright yellow powder that sets foundation, reduces shine, and corrects redness or pink undertones while brightening skin. I’m a massive fan of Ben Nye Banana Powder so imagine my surprise when I saw how incredibly similar Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder was to it. I decided I had to try it out for myself considering the price is nearly 50% less than Ben Nye’s formula.

Take a look at my review below.

NYX Epic Ink Lip Dye Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

NYX Epic Ink Lip Dye ($6.99) is a new lightweight, pigmented lip stain that was introduced with the NYX Spring 2017 Collection in 12 shades. I used to love lip stains! They were seriously the only thing I used on my lips back in the day. Nowadays I’m more of a lipgloss girl but lip stains still hold a special spot in my heart.

Like many brands NYX seems to have been inspired a bit by Korean makeup and beauty trends as lip stains particularly ones that give you a gradient look are all the rage in Korea. I personally don’t like the look, it reminds me of a corpse. Sorry!? Eep! I do however, like long wearing lip stains so, that’s why I purchased this one. I was surprised at the poor reviews this one got as I ended up liking it a lot!

Here are my thoughts and review.
