If you have your eye on this I totally recommend waiting to further in the month to haul it as it’s currently priced at $8.47 (the Shower Gel is $6.47) and it’ll likely creep down to around $4.50 or so as we get really deep into the sale towards the end of the month.

There was a lot of buzz about this one across social media before it even launched and as a gourmand lover I was definitely there for it. The notes are mouthwatering! Vanilla ice cream, toasted coconut and sugared amber! Yum! Sign me up! I purchased it online as a pick up at my local store so, I never actually smelled it. But with notes like those it was a safe blind buy. Not to mention it was making the rounds across IG and Tiktok with people raving how wonderful it smelled and what a winner it was! And of course, reviews on Bath and Body Works website were promsing.

Kilian Princess Eau Fraiche is now available and I’m pretty sure the frag-heads on Tiktok are going to lose their minds. I swear I’ve never seen such an over hyped perfume like Princess! It’s so over hyped that it was sold out for many months before being restocked finally a few months back. It’s weird because I think there are a lot of Kilian Fragrances that are incredible (I’m talking to you Love, Don’t Be Shy) but Princess wasn’t really one that made me roll over in fits of joy. But the Tiktok Fragrance Lovers adore this scent and pimp it up constantly. As a gourmand lover, I fail to get the excitement. I like it but I prefer Love, Don’t Be Shy because to me that’s the most perfect sweet, delicious marshmallow scent (if you haven’t already, you really need to try out!) and I fail to get that from Princess. The interesting thing about Princess is it was created to be more appealing to a younger demographic and Kilian succeeded perfectly with that in my opinion since the women who promote it so heavily as being amazing are anywhere from 20-25 years old.

The original Princess has notes of Ginger, Green Tea, and Marshmallow and this new Princess Eau Fraiche is a more fresher, solar version of the original that’s suitable for warmer, Summery days with notes of Bergamot, Green Tea, and Marshmallow. The bergamot is supposed to lend a lemony tartness to the scent which actually sounds incredibly lover but Eau Fraiche are notoriously lighter and shorter wearing than parfums.

I’m sad this isn’t available in a travel spray as I am curious about it but not curious enough to spend $120 on it. My store hasn’t gotten this yet but hopefully it does soon and I can do a little sniff test.
