Pat Mcgrath Divine Blush Legendary Glow Colour Balm Isn’t Getting Any Major Awards for Packaging or Longwear But I Still Want More Shades

Pat Mcgrath Divine Blush: Legendary Glow Colour Balm ($29) is a new cream blush stick available in six shades that provides “glossy, gleaming color”. This is described as a radiant and glow-boosting blush. The marketing had me rolling around in fits of joy because as you know (since I’ve mentioned it too many times to count) I’m very into dewy skincare and makeup lately. It’s my new thang! And hey this formula was all about promoting glossy color and it had a formula that had some killer moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and squalane. Needless to say as soon as Divine Blush Legendary Glow Colour Balm hit Mother’s website I was on it and ordering up a shade.
I actually ordered only one and it was hard to decide which I wanted but I ended up the she Peach Lotus which is apparently the lightest shade. It arrived in a few days and I ripped the box open and was a little disappointed. There’s actually no glow or radiance here. You’re gonna get your serving of dew but as for glow, mmm, not so much! But that’s ok! The gel-like look of this blush stick had me hyped to try it and after I did I realized it wasn’t winning any awards for packaging nor was it going to get a major award for long wear but here we are with me wanting a shade or two more. Sometimes life is filled with beautiful makeup contradictions!
