My Beauty Diary Peach Soda Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Review

As cool and refreshing as a peach soda sounds might I say that having it in an eye & lip makeup remover formula makes it double wicked and tempting?

My Beauty Diary recently released a range of skincare collection entitled My Tea Time one item included with the collection is their new Peach Soda Eye & Lip Makeup Remover. Damn these Asian companies, they really know how to tempt a girl……doesn’t the name just beg you to buy it?

I had to have it!

L’Occitane en Provence Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet Review, Swatches, Photos

I danced around the house and sung I feel pretty in Julie Andrew’s haughty British accent this morning. It’s that damn L’Occitane en Provence Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet…the shades just make me feel oh so pretty, witty, and gay! I was actually all of these things before the palette but the palette helped emphasize my sheer awesomeness….I’m kiddin’, I’m kiddin’ but seriously the palette is one of those soft, feminine little numbers that makes you feel pretty just staring at it.

The new Pivoine Flora Collection is an ode to the graceful beauty of the peony flower that sways gently in the breeze like a dainty little ballerina!

Let’s check out the palette!

MAC Prep + Prime Beauty Balm SPF 35

I’ve been waiting to tell you about the new MAC Prep + Prime Beauty Balm SPF 35 since earlier this week but the press release just ended up in my inbox today!

W00t!

The product was originally available at select Travel Retail locations throughout Asia. I believe mine was purchased in Japan via a Duty Free shop at the airport. I’ve had it for a while now but didn’t review since it was so difficult to locate in the US however I’ll be reviewing mine tomorrow and I think I’ll indulge in the US version as well to see if the formula is the same or different from the Asian release. I suspect it’ll be the same overall though.

Let’s have a look!

Urban Decay Lip Love Honey Infused Lip Therapy Review, Swatches, Photos

I wish Park Si Hoo would stop posting hawt pics of himself on Twitter, it’s distracting me from work.

It’s one of those days I’m procrastinating madly….! How about you? Must be the upcoming weekend.

Anyway, I was test driving Urban Decay Lip Love Honey Infused Lip Therapy this week and I remember why I didn’t love MAC Honey Salve, the gawd awful cat pee taste. Not that I go around tasting cat pee mind you, don’t get any wrong ideas…but damn honey anything really tastes rubbish…anyone agree?

What’s the Difference Between Tinted Moisturizer and BB Creams?

Now that we are finally seeing BB Creams on our shores I thought I’d take a second to answer the question, What’s the difference between Tinted Moisturizer and BB Creams?

I already see alot of questions rising up about how BB Creams are the same as Tinted Moisturizers or questions about the differences between the two….I want to emphasis that BB Creams and Tinted Moisturizers are too vastly different products. The concept is somewhat the same but the ingredients and performance of the two products are very different. Although I will say so far the US releases I’ve played with from Dr. Jart are quite disappointing and do indeed act more as a Tinted Moisturizer than a BB Cream.

BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm Cream. The product was originally created by Germany dermatologists to help patients who had gone through laser skin surgery. The product was meant to soothe and regenerate the skin tissue.

The craze was born in Korea (most BB Creams and the best performing ones in my opinion are from various Korean Brands) when famous actresses started wearing the cream on their faces. The product slowly started branching out from Korea to Japan, China, Singapore, and other parts of Asia thus creating a very hot trend.

Most BB Creams are created in one shade but some are created in two and if you’re lucky some even go so far as to offer three or four shades such as Missha. It’s rare though that more than one shade is created. I’ve heard alot of ranting about this but you do have to remember that BB Creams originated in Asia where there is one dominate skin tone…

Jump ahead for more.
