Speaking of Shu, my favorite Shu product by far, evers, is the Shu Uemura Curler. Tis the Cadillac of all curlers in my humblest opinion. Of course, it has that one very nasty little downfall of not having refills available once you finish the two it comes with grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Hey chicklets!

I’m hittin’ up my blog roots today with a little Japanese makeup review. Been ages since I delved into the world of Japanese cosmetics hasn’t it? If you’ve been hanging with me for a while, you probably remember days of old when Musings was all about Japanese makeup. Things have changed considerably as I found that reader’s appreciated hearing about local brands, counter, drugstore, etc….so I’ve tried to diversified alot with Musings and cover various brands from abroad as well as cosmetics easily located within the US.

I gotta confess, I really hate simple mascara brushes. I always feel like a large, bushy standard brush simply doesn’t get the job done. I’ve almost always have really crummy results with mascara that has such a brush. When the US mascara market started evolving and embracing really cool brush applicators I was all over it because for me I get the best results with all those bells and whistles rather than a standard old applicator.

I’m telling you all this because when I seen Rimmel The Max Volume Flash Mascara I was positive it would be absolute rubbish.
