My Skin Looked It’s Best When I Was Using This Skincare

Fill in the beauty blank, “My skin looked it’s best when I was using this skincare_________________________.” Have you recently stopped using skincare that really made your complexion look awesome? Maybe you ran out of and decided to use something you already have rather than buy it again? Or maybe it’s too expensive and you didn’t want to re-indulge? Or perhaps you decided you wanted to honeymoon with a new product.

Which skincare item or collection have you stopped using that made your skin looking amazing?

I test a lot of different skincare out and I deeply regret the day I stopped using Philosophy Miracle Worker Pads and Miracle Worker Moisturizer. The pads don’t jive well with a lot of different skincare I’ve been testing out the past year so, I eliminated them from my skincare diet while I test other products out. I ran out of Miracle Worker Moisturizer which I used in the evening and I replaced it with the newer Miracle Worker Overnight Moisturizer which I hate but feel inclined to finish off before I repurchased the original again.

Le sigh!

Such chaos.

I love beauty blogging but sometimes I find it hard to stick to skincare routine when I’m busy testing such a wide variety of products.

Moral of the story, I need to get back to my beloved Philosophy routine because my skin looked its very best when I was using the Miracle Worker Collection.

How about you?

What skincare have you stopped using that really worked for you?

Why did you stop?

Do share!

Belif The True Tincture Cleansing Stick, Yes, Another Cleansing Stick!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Belif The True Tincture Cleansing Stick

Ah cleansing sticks! It’s a current beauty trend with no end in sight and the launch of the new Belif The True Tincture Cleansing Stick ($28) proves it!

This aromatic cleansing stick smells like soothing chamomile it’s even formulated with natural chamomile flower petals which provide a gentle leather to cleanse your skin. Simply swipe it on from the stick and it’ll lather up and melt away makeup, dirt, and oil. Apparently it’s a lot gentler than other cleansers as it has a neutral pH formula which makes less alkaline which results in a gentle, soothing cleanse that leaves skin soft but not tight or dry!

As a lover of Belif, I definitely want to try it!

It’s available now at

What do you think

Worth a try?

P.S. How’s your week going? Mine is kind of stressed. I’m feeling rather tired this week for some reason and just can’t wait for the weekend to arrive. A wise man once told me that if you work all week, looking forward to the weekend it likely means you don’t enjoy what you do for a living. I love what I do but gosh, I can’t wait for the weekend to come. Is that bad?

Happy Hump Day 🙂

Biore Put Baking Soda In My Cleansing Scrub

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Biore Put Baking Soda In My Cleansing Scrub

If you can put charcoal into skincare why not baking soda? Biore Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub was created with combination skin in mind and uses natural baking side to remove dirt and oil.

I might have dry skin but I was compelled to give it a try for myself. Did you know Japan is well know for creating powder cleansers? Read up on my reviews of Softymo Q10 Face Cleansing Powder Wash and Happy Syu Wa Wa Powder Wash for the deets. And let’s not forget that one time E.L.F released a Mineral Face Cleanser.

Biore’s Baking Side Cleansing Scrub performs double duty though as it acts to wash your face as well as gently exfoliates it.

Here’s the deets.
