Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Volume 4 Filled With Cool Mattes

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Volume 4

Mattes apparently are back for Fall 2016 and this new Make Up For Ever Artist Eyeshadow Palette Volume 4 ($44) is filled with cool mattes, nine of ’em to be exact. I think one of the top rants I get when any new palette launches is, “Oh no not more nudes!” I get it, nudes have definitely dominated the market lately. But I’m one of those girls, that’s all like, “Oh I have 500 shades of brown eyeshadow but I should buy this brown eyeshadow anyway because it looks NOTHING like the other 500 I already have”. Yeah, my makeup life is filled with illogical excuses like that gem.

In cases like that I look to Ryan to make everything right with my makeup universe again. He brings me calm clarity.

Make Up For Ever Artist Palette Volume 4 isn’t about the nudes though! This is definitely a cooler round up of shades that includes taupes, purples, greys, and pinks! The shades are organized into trios to take the guess work out of pairing them up to create an eye look! Each one is 0.04 oz in size and the colors included are:

  • Black (M-100)
  • Grey Brown (M-620)
  • Chalk (M-126)
  • Wine (M-842)
  • Antique Pink (M-806)
  • Dark Purple Taupe (M-546)
  • Prussian Blue (M-240)
  • Milk Tea (M-536)
  • Eggshell (M-530)

There’s also an illustrated step-by-step application guide!

Get it now at Sephora.com now. Might as well start prepping for Fall 2016 now right?

Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette Teaser for Spring 2017

Not ready for Too Faced Spring 2017? Too bad! Jerrod Blandino is busy teasing the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette for Spring 2017 which is causing mass hysteria and pandemonium on Instagram this morning! We all know how insane the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette went down. We’re talking epic, craziness! I’m still trying to comprehend the insanity that was that eyeshadow palette.

None the less, forget about the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette because right now it’s about the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette (And don’t worry, Jerrod promises a return of the eyeshadow palette soon! Perhaps that might just be with the Too Faced Spring 2017 Collection or maybe sooner! We’ll have to see).

There is absolutely no word what is inside this new palette but I imagine it is likely a highlighter palette and I hopes perhaps it includes some luminous blushes as well in, perhaps, peachy shades!? Jerrod did flash some photos a few weeks ago which you can see after the jump of gorgeous pressed blush powders as well as a tiny little mirror with a peach on it. I wonder is this the inside of the Sweet Peach Glow Palette? Or are those powders something else completely that’s coming from Too Faced?

All I can see is that I might just wait out Too Faced Holiday 2016 and save my money for Spring 2017 instead!

bath and body works fall 2016 candles

Yup, it’s that time of the year again, kids! Bath & Body Works Fall 2016 Candles have arrived online and should be launching soon in stores. Mind you, this isn’t the full launch! They’ll be more, much, much, more! And I, for one, can’t wait. Fall is my favorite time of the year and Bath & Body Works Fall Candles are a big part of my autumn tradition!

Like I need another candle, but yeah, still totally hauling any and all new ones. Which reminds me, I promised myself that this year I would start enjoy Fall right on September 1st. It’s still very warm in New York come September but I’m not going to wait, I’m going to haul out the candles and the Fall Hand Soaps and get busy enjoy the season because it passes by way too quickly.

Let’s drool all over the Bath & Body Works Fall 2016 Candles together and remind ourselves we don’t NEED more but we sure as hell WANT more. Besides, I feel like I deserve this! I haven’t purchased candles in at least 5 to 6 months!

Oh, top of my list this season? Toasted Graham Cracker Latte!

Nip + Fab New Summer 2016 Launches and Villains

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

nip+fab summer 2016

Ok, if you haven’t tried Nip + Fab Soften Kale Fix Moisturizer you need to get on that ASAP, peeps. It’s one of my favorite budget moisturizers at the moment!

But what this post really is about is the newest Nip + Fab Summer launches available at CVS, CVS.com, Ulta, and Ulta.com like Dragon’s Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot ($24.99) and Bee Sting Fix Toning Pads. I dunno about you but my geeky good nature loves the idea of products that have names like Dragon’s Blood and Bee Sting. Nothing like a little bad ass venomousness (is that a word) in your skincare to get the day started. Which reminds me, while every other little girl was wanting to be a princess, I wanted to be Cruella de Vil. She was just so fabulous, kidnapping little puppies aside that is! I’m positive she had Chanel lipstick on her lips, Louboutin on her feet, and started her day by prepping with Dragon’s Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot.

I mean if she doesn’t scare you, no evil Bee Sting Fix Toning Pads will right?

P.S. Speaking of villains, which do you want to be when you grow up? Mine is a toss up between Harley, Negan, and Cruella!

Pick A villain

But more important which new Nip + Fab products do you want to try?

Check ’em below!

Universal Voodoo Perfume Oils Are An Absolute Muse Have, I Mean Must Have!

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Universal Voodoo Perfume Oil

I happen to be a massive Universal Voodoo fan girl and I recently discovered they have an Etsy store and are now doing Perfume Oils. Dream. Come. True. Universal Voodoo Perfume Oils are something I’ve wanted in my life since discovering this incredible indie brand at least ten years ago. At the time I discovered it, it was called Alternative Breeding and it was all about wax melts and candles. As per the name, these are worthy of your possession and an absolutely muse have, must have, whatever, you get it 🙂

Tod, the creator, of these intricate, unique blends has always concentrated solely on wax. But I’ve always felt that these blends are so, so unique that they deserved to be showcased in something other than wax. Anyway, I don’t when but Tod has in fact launched an entire range of perfume oils. It could be a year or could be months or it could be yesterday but I didn’t realize that until recently. You see, I’ve been avoiding Tod’s website for a while now because I stockpile his wax tarts and I promised myself I wouldn’t buy more until I used what I already had. If you haven’t tried his tart’s you seriously have not lived. They are amazing! Simply incredible. There is truly nothing like them in the indie world. And now that he’s doing perfume oils? Well, there’s nothing like those either.
