So, you may or may not have realized but Lush is having some sort of viral moment thanks to Sticky Dates. Sticky Dates has taken the clock app by storm and everyone is loving all over it. It’s been released in a body scrub, fragrance mist, perfume, shower gel, and body lotion! I just hope it doesn’t disappear! Originally released as a limited-edition shower gel to celebrate EID this decadent creamy, caramel scent is a gourmand lovers dream!

Ok, the reviews are in on Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth Me Espresso Eau de Parfum and it appears we don’t need it. If you didn’t know Sabrina Carpenter dropped yet another Sweet Tooth Perfume earlier last week. This is the fourth fragrance in the collection with the other three being the original Sweet Tooth, Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream, and the latest Sweet Tooth Cherry Baby! Of course, Me Espresso is a gourmand and it sounded like a wonderful gourmand but as per reviews I’ve read it’s falling flat.

This delicious scent promised an opening of expresso beans, cappuccino, and cocoa powder with a heart of jasmine, vanilla orchid, and biscotti and a dry down of caramel drizzle, sugared amber, and whipped cream. Sounds perfect right? I’m hearing a variety of reports that it smells like grape soda, other says it has a fishy aroma, and some say there aren’t getting any of the gourmand notes at all and definitely no coffee. Now I have to question if I wait to smell it or do I take a chance and blind buy it?

I absolutely loved Cherry Baby and didn’t expect her to drop another fragrance so quickly but here we are…! And the best part is it was a coffee scent! I was so prepared for a creamy, rich coffee fragrance but sounds like this isn’t it. It’s offered in one size which is 2.5 for $60. I wish they had a smaller bottle or at least a sampler pack with all four scents which make it easier to try before we all indulge in that $60 bottle we might not love. I actually do love all her fragrances and I really was hoping for something special with this but the reviews are really making me feel like I don’t want to take a chance.

Now I have to decide…! Do I trust the reviews or do I take a chance on the new Sabrina Carpenter Me Espresso Perfume? Are you excited to try this one?

I told myself I wouldn’t purchase anymore fragrances until Spring but that sort of went out the door when Maison Mataha dropped not one but two new scents for the Holidays! That also, went out the door when Jousset released not one but four new gourmands. It’s been a hard month for fragrances. After those hauls I put myself on a ban and told myself nothing new until Spring or Summer. That went out the door when The Maker introduced Dream and Clean dropped Whipped Cherry. My only comfort is that I ordered travel sprays in these and I kinda hope I don’t like them so I don’t need to haul the larger sizes but I’m almost positive I’m going to love at least one.

The drama of it all.
