L’Oreal Got the Memo We Sent And Now Has Press To Release Jars To Preserve Ingredients

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Do you remember that memo we sent out several hundred years ago to brands begging them for more hygienic and airtight jars? Well, it’s happening finally! L’Oreal Revitalift Pressed Night Moisturizer with Retinol launches today and it features a new fresh-pressed jar which keeps the moisturizer not only tightly locked away but also, by not allowing air into the packaging the ingredients and most importantly the retinol won’t breakdown and will remain fresh and well preserved.

This is amazing because we’ve literally been begging brands to do this for ages. The more light and air you’re letting into your moisturizer the bigger the chances are the ingredients are going break down quickly rendering your favorite, and likely expensive, moisturizer useless.

We’ve been begging for tubes for years but the press release jars that have been pretty popular in the Eastern market have slowly trickled to our own shores. We’ve seen a few brands introduce products in these jars lately like Tarte Baba Bomb Moisturizer.

It’s long been my belief they put things in a jar to encourage more sales. If you’re moisturizer suddenly stops working you start to believe it went off, you’ll toss it out, and buy a new one. I’m convinced that’s why they haven’t changed the horrible jar packaging. Most of us do NOT want to dip our entire finger into a jar of moisturizer! This new packaging allows you to press down and a small amount of moisturizer is released while the rest remains tightly sealed in the jar. Genius and long overdue.

Sadly, this packaging hasn’t extended to L’Oreal’s complete line of moisturizers but hopefully, with time they’ll understand how much we appreciate this packaging and redesign other products in their main line with it.

The new L’Oreal Revitalift Pressed Night Moisturizer is available now!

If You’re Not Buying NABLA Skin Glazing for $12 Where You Attttttttttttttt!?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

You gotta love when someone makes a Tiktok and it spirals completely out of control into chaotic hysteria. A few weeks ago a girl sitting in an inner tube at the lake proceeded to make an annoying Tiktok where she says, “If you ain’t at the lake where the f*ck you atttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt?” And of course, people took it and ran with it. I mean, it just infiltrated all areas of Tiktok! Trust me when I say ALL areas because even creators you’d never expect to imitate it are doing it. Which makes for pretty freaking hysterical watching.

So yeah, here’s my version of it! God knows, I hope you laughed at it because I know I’m easily amused and giggling over it.

But seriously, if you aren’t buying Skin Glazing what are you even doing with your life right now! It’s freaking $12 bucks peeps! Go grab one, two, or three shades!

I love this stuff and I feel the need to spread the fact it is on sale far and wide. I love a highlighter that works as a blush ya know? And some of these shades totally work as a blush!

Shades are selling out fast so go grab one or two!

I promise they are so worth it.

Enjoy!

Here’s What’s Fishy About Sephora Price Matching the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Deals

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’ve put the International Super Spy work in and I’m convinced Sephora has allocated a select amount of product for the Oh Snap Sale! As you know Sephora launched an Oh Snap Sale! which is a direct competitive sale for the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Event. Unfortunately, Sephora can’t actually compete with the sale as many of the brands that Ulta has up on offer during the sale aren’t sold at Sephora. This means that the Sephora Oh Snap Sale! will have off days where no deals will be available.

However, on days that Ulta posts something up that Sephora does have available you’ll find it 50% off just as you would at the 21 Days of Ulta Sale for one day only.

Cool concept right?

I think so! Why? Because if a shade or product sells out at Ulta you can go ahead and grab it at Sephora. That being said, it’s weird to me that Sephora sells put of stuff SO SUPER QUICKLY. I don’t know the exact time the sale goes up but it’s a bit after Ulta’s items are marked down. Ulta’s items go live around 12-1 AM EST whereas Sephora it’s more like anywhere between 3 to 9 AM.

It feels like Sephora very much sets aside a certain amount of product for the sale and limits it to just that amount. I don’t think they’re putting their entire inventory into the sale and likely have a certain limit on the item. Once that limit sells out it sells out.

I feel like Ulta is doing a hell of a lot better lately than Sephora but I could be wrong. I find it highly unusual the item on sale goes out of stock when it’ll very much be available at Ulta.

Hmmmmm………..

If it was going to sell out you’d think it would sell at Ulta. How did it sell out at Sephora but not Ulta?

But wait, there’s more!

Ok, so the product sells out at Sephora during the sale but log into Sephora the next day and it’s magically restocked already.

Have I blown your mind? I find it weird that the product just magically gets restocked the following day.

I’m convinced they just set aside a limited amount for the sale and when that select stock sells out it sells out.

What do you think?

It’s Another Big Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Day! Here’s What I’d Haul!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It’s another huge day for Ulta deals during the 21 Days of Beauty Sale! I just picked up my big haul of Bi-Facil Double-Action Gentle Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover! The larger bottles are $21 each which is an utter steal! It’s truly my favorite eye makeup remover and I really hate all over the $42 price tag and I’m ever so grateful when Ulta has it on sale so I can grab a few bottles at such a discount! Select Lancome Mascaras are also on sale!

Another haul I’d totally recommend is the Nabla Skin Glazing which are $12 each! SUCH a steal! The shades Adults Only and Lola are to die for and work great as radiant blushes or highlighters! You NEED them in your life!

Select Skyn Iceland Eye Gels and Eye Patches are all 50% Off! My personal fav are the Dissolving Microneedle Eye Patches With Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides! These have a bad rep for some reason but I love them! I use them before applying eye cream and it seems like my eye cream really absorbs so much more nicer when I use them versus when I don’t!

Lots of fun stuff from DHC and Hanskin is also on sale today! Grab up the DHC Extra Nighttime Moisturizer if you have drier skin! It really makes for a nice plump appearance when using this overnight!
