Dogecoin’s Fading But Neiman Marcus Sales Rebound

If you’re over there biting your fingernails over the state of Dogecoin and other crypto today you aren’t alone. Be right back I’m gonna go sob under my desk for a while! It’s ok though! Good news awaits us in the beauty world at least.

Neiman Marcus sales rebounded apparently in Q3 and count me shocked. Lord & Taylor, maybe you moved too quickly there….! According to reports there’s a 43 to 44 percent gain in the third quarter compared to the 2020 period and only about a 6 to 7 percent decline from the third quarter of 2019. Earnings aren’t public as of yet I don’t think…….correct me if I’m wrong!

They aren’t quite as the level they were in 2019 but things are rebounding for them quickly.

I have lost some hope in the status of luxury department stores. I feel like they are all destined for failure at this point since so many are located within malls and malls are pretty much a dying breed. We’ve lost so many greats like Barney’s and Lord & Taylor it does make me worry for other luxury stores like Nordy’s.

It feels like there’s some light at the end of a dark tunnel reading about Neiman Marcus having good sale rebound in Q3 today. I hope it continues!

As for crypto….let’s hope that rebounds too because my portfolio feels like it went down the toilet today.

My best feature would be my skin….! Allow me to brag very briefly….I am poreless (except some minor visible pores on my nose), I am very smooth without any texture issues, and I am free from blemishes and acne. My skin has been like this as far back as I can remember. I never even went thorough any acne or blemish issues when I was a teenager! I remember high school being like a war zone for pimples especially during everyone’s period but I never had an issue. Acne, blemishes were never really an issue during my period or even just due to normal teenage hormones. I do remember in Freshman year have some minor forehead breakouts because sort of had bangs which I was growing out. But aside from that, I never really get breakouts now or back then. My skin is also, really resilient. Nothing really breaks me out or causes sensitives.

What would I change?

You already know how much I hate them. They dominate my face, they make me look like cartoon….! The eyes need to go 😉 I’d totally change them if I could. Maybe something a little smaller, less wide and buggy, and I wouldn’t mind a new shade…! I gotta be the girl blessed with bambi eyes over here! 😛

Kristin Ess Cleansing Co-Wash Totally Stopped Me from Shedding Like a Poodle

Kristin Ess Frizz Management Cleansing Co-Wash totally stopped me from shedding and I feel like I get less hair breakage using this stuff! Love! For some reason hair care became a weird sort of addiction during lock down…! I found myself exploring new brands, doing new hairstyles, and just treating my hair a lot nicer than I normally do! I think it was some new level of self care for me!

At this time I also started using Kristin Ess Cleansing Co-Wash (and pretty much exploring her entire line of hair care) and fell absolutely in love. This is literally a product I’ll cry about it if it gets discontinued.

Kristin Ess Hair’s Frizz Management Cleansing Co-Wash is one for the curly haired girls and guys that need help with frizz and damage or really, anyone that needs moisture. I don’t really consider myself a true curly haired girl! I’m more a wavy hair with some curl type and this totally fit what I needed.

I pretty much used this daily and about twice a week I’ll use a normal shampoo and conditioner. It’s very low lather with a thicker, creamy consistency that resembles a conditioner. It smells amazing! I can’t really describe the scent! It’s sort fresh and floral-like!

To use this formula I’ll comb through my hair using a Wet Brush and proceed to divide my hair into four sections. I’ll apply about a nickle size amount starting at the root of each section and working my way down. Sometimes I’ll comb through it again and leave it in for a few minutes while I do the rest of my shower routine before rinsing it out. It rinses very easily and doesn’t leave a film behind and my hair never fells heavy after use. I notice it has very little build up! For something this thick and creamy I did expect it to weight my hair down but and leave some residue behind but it doesn’t! It leaves my hair soft and virtually frizz-free. Not only that but I RARELY ever have any shedding since I started using this. I used to have lose hair in the shower with a lot of my old cleansing conditioners and of course some normal breakage from over conditioning. After a week of using this I noticed I was cleansing my drain out a lot less. I seriously experience so much less hair loss with this formula! My hair is super long and I shed like a dog and it’s so incredible to experience less of that!

If you rely on co-washing versus traditional cleansing methods with your hair I think you’ll adore Kristin Ess Frizz Management Cleansing Co-Wash. It leaves hair soft, clean, frizz-free, and with a lasting, beautiful fragrance!

Totally worth a buy!

Cheap Thrilling It With Smartly Body Lotion and Shower Gel

I like long romantic strolls down the cleaning aisles at Target. I find peace and my inner zen while browsing Method and Mrs. Meyer’s…..ahhhh…! Tell me you like to clean stuff without telling me you like to clean stuff ;-D

No but seriously, there’s something very calming about just a Target trip especially when it isn’t super busy and you can just casually stroll through the aisles without invading anyone else’s space.

As you may know, since I’ve told everyone that will listen, Smartly Citrus All-Purpose Cleaner is brilliant! It totally smells like the Anthropologie Volcano Candle! Slightly sweet, orange-y and citrus-y, a little tart, perfection! During the pandemic it was near impossible to find for some reason! I kept buying the concentrated version and mixing it with water! The fact that the spray kept just disappearing from shelves turned out to be a blessing in disguise since I realized I could clean my wood floors with the concentrated version as well as my countertops! I saw a girl on Tiktok pour some in a smaller empty bottle, remove the cap, and place it in her toilet tank so every time she flushed it would cleanse the water. Probably not something I’d recommended doing but it seemed an intriguing new cleaning level to unlock!

If you need a cheap thrill grab up the Summertime Scented Hand and Body Lotion as well as the Body Wash for a $1.99! It smells exactly like the cleanser! The Body Lotion is awesome! Very light, no greasy, absorbs easily, and gives your skin a nice citrus-y scent! Totally a cheap thrill and a great pick for Summer! They have hand soap as well (if I didn’t have an entire hoard of Bath & Body Works hand soap I’d totally go there).
