Holiday Collections 2010
Ahh Chanel spicing things up this year with their Les Tentations de Chanel Holiday Collection 2010. It doesn’t quite meet the traditional standards in our Holiday makeup world does it?
Delicate shades of brown, pops of pink, and hints of bronze make up Chanel Holiday 2010 and one gets more of a vibe of Spring than Holiday at first glance. But try it out for size and flushed cheeks and a fierce smoky brown eye later and you’ll agree this does indeed speak the language of Winter.
Did you haul it?
What did you think?
Anyone try the new Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Fragrances yet? I got ’em in the mail yesterday and proceeded to go to down misting myself silly.
My best friend Jai was with me at the time and he just gave me the silent eye raise that translated as, “You are so not doing that.” Hey, that’s part of the fun of trying new fragrances eh?
Wicked Style is a really huge revamp from the original line up. We discussed it in prior posts but it deserves a re-mention here. The girls now have velvet-y bobble-like heads and outfits that adapt various fashion styles from Japan. Baby for example is wearing Kawaii Decora which is a playful style adapted from younger Japanese girls that uses lots of layering and bright or pastel colors and accessories that include furry toys and jewelry.
Here’s the display for the new limited edition Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Glam Collection. I reviewed the Glam Collection Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliner recently and wasn’t too impressed with it however I’m somewhat tempted to try out the mascara which is also part of this collection.
I was looking for the Mineral Glow Pearls Blush display but it appears they sold out of it. No wonder as that was really a great product and I hope to see it as a permanent part of the collection!
Anyone try yet?
