Opening up today’s blog with my heart going out to Andy Whitfield and his family today. He passed away yesterday surrounded by his family and loved ones. I was shocked to read it, even though I knew he was sick, and instantly felt really, really bad about it. He was so young. Just makes you realize how brief and fleeting our time here is.
Phew….’nuff depressing news on Monday.
On to the beauty to lighten up the mood!

My little city continues to prevail and grow stronger everyday.
My heart goes out to those who had family, friends, and loved ones that suffered through the tragedy that was 9/11.
As a New Yorker myself, I know we’ve all become stronger and more unified.
You MIGHT wanna nom the Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek but please don’t, it’s a blush not a French pastry!
Puff de Cheek was released for Spring 2011 so this review is an ickle over do but better later than never particularly when it comes to cute beauty as you can never have enough of that.
There are a few cult favorite concealers out there. One’s that are spoken about in whispers, put on a pedestal and worshiped. In my experience, most times, they end up such a fail.
All that hype, all that talk, all those incredible reviews…what am I missing?
Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer is one of those long fabled, HG (holy grail) concealers that everyone raves on and on about…
What do I think about?
I wanna say that Smashbox is one of the first primers I ever really took note of on the makeup market, it’s also probably one of my first remembered primer experiences.
And it also turned me off to primers for a really long time. Personally I’m kinda sorta amazed how many people love it as I’ve only ever experience itchy joy from it after application plus it’s always had a knack for pilling…just an overall awful product in my opinion.
And I know I’m not alone here as many of you have felt the same way and all I can say is it’s about damn time that Smashbox created a hydrating primer!
