Wet n Wild Metallic Liquid Lipstick Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Metallic Liquid Lipstick

Wet n Wild Metallic Liquid Lipstick ($2.99) is a new lipstick that launched with the Wet n Wild Lost in the Wild Flowers Summer 2016 Collection. This is available in six shade selections and I’m unsure if Wet n Wild is keeping it on permanently or if it will be available for a limited time only.

I actually hate metallic lipsticks and metallic eyeshadows. I like them in theory! I just don’t like how they look on me. Occasionally, I do run across a metallic finish I like but it is very rare as most times metallic translates as frost to me or way too much shimmer. And metallic lipstick or gloss? Well, typically that makes me feel like I look like a robot. I wear it and suddenly I’m moping around like Marvin.

You Really Do Need Sephora Rouge Balm

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Sephora Rouge Balm2

You really do need Sephora Rouge Balm ($12.50) because it is one of the better lip products I’ve tried lately and hello? It’s $12.50! Steal! Recently, Sephora released eight shades of Rouge Balm recently each of which contains an SPF 20. If I listen hard enough I bet I can hear you all cheering that this contains SPF.

I stupidly purchased a single shade of this during the Sephora Love Note event and I admit to kicking myself for not grabbing more but that will be quickly redeemed. Why only one? Well, you know the drill with Sephora makeup! When they get it right they get it VERY right but when they get it wrong, oh lord.

Lipstick Queen Eden Is A Delightfully Juicy Red

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Lipstick Queen Eden2

Lipstick Queen Eden ($22) is a delightfully juicy red that will make for perfect Spring lips when you want to go a bit lighter with your lipstick. I always think of red lipstick as something to be worn in the evening but not so much in the day. I’m even a little wary of wearing it to a meeting or to meet a client as it seems a little too bright sometimes and not entirely appropriate.

And add in the fact that I’m not always comfortable in red lipstick and sometimes feel like I look like a clown and well, I’m not always up for wearing red.

That’s where Lipstick Queen Eden comes into play. This sheer yet wearable shade of juicy apple red is perfectly subtle for that power meeting and still delightfully playful for a night out.

Take a look!

Everything They Told You About Rodial Blusher Is True

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Rodial Blusher1

You might have been hearing some buzz about the new Rodial Blusher, and everything you’ve heard is likely true. You can go ahead and add this little blusher onto my awesome list as I’m currently in love with.

When I first got my hands on this little compact, I instantly flashed back to 2009 and the days of Rock and Republic Blush. At the moment said blush goes for $100 and upwards on Evil-Bay, but I remember when it was 50% off, and I’m sad to say I didn’t purchase a single shade at the time. What was I thinking!?

But I digress, this post is about my love of Rodial Blusher!
