I don’t have official images yet and I know you’re all pretty curious about the Bobbi Brown Rich Color Eyeshadows that are launching for Fall so I pulled a few of the swatches off of Nordstrom so you can kinda sorta get a better look at the colors.
Granted, they aren’t fabulous as promo images are always off when it comes to colors but at least you can get an idea.

Of course, I immediately had to do a little price comparing because I was curious what the retail would look like during this big move to their new retailer.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup is a new groundbreaking mineral foundation that has my curiosity piqued.
In 2010, Bobbi Brown launched Pretty Powerful which was a campaign to celebrate Bobbi’s belief that all women possess natural beauty. This year Bobbi launches Pretty Powerful 2.0 which features real women (Bobbi’s friends, her neighbors, her co workers, even women she’s met on the street) who embody the power of women and how we can ALL look pretty with the right makeup. In the wake of L’oreal’s retouching issue, Pretty Powerful is a campaign that celebrates our natural beauty and emphasizes those areas with makeup rather than airbrushing, retouching, and the use of computers.
Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful 2.0 will feature 30 new faces including WNBA player Alana Beard, model Jenny Shimuzu, news anchor Mary Alice Williams, etc….The campaign captured the women’s before and after photos, videos, testimonials, face charts, and application tips.
Bobbi will also launch a contest called the Tour of America which encourages women to upload their photos to be the face of their state. Women with the most votes and “likes” will be moved to the top of the list and in mid-November, the person with the most votes will be the face of their state with a total of 50 states represented. Bobbi will choose the winner personally and fly them to New York for a Bobbi Brown Master Class.

This campaign is very near to my heart since I’m such a big Bobbi Brown fan plus anything that empowers women to understand how beautiful they are inside as well as out. Makeup is such a beautiful way to make us feel confidence, empowered, and beautiful!
Holika Holika is a Korean brand with a Harry Potter-ish kinda theme. The stores are decked out in shades of purple and black, employee uniforms have a witch-y vibe, and the brand takes lotions and potions to a new, magical level. I think the entire magic, witch, goth theme draws alot of attention and gives the brand its own little niche plus chalk up the traditional kawaii packaging that Korean and Asian brands in general embrace and you have yourself a happy helping of fabulous for makeup junkies.
I’ve reviewed a few Holika Holika products and today I hauled out the Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Blusher that I picked up a several weeks ago. This blush will remind you of the packaging of the Aqua Petit Jelly I reviewed a few months ago.

Stila Custom Color Blush is a pH-Based powder that supposedly takes the chore out of choosing your perfect shade of blush. You see, it creates the perfect shade of personalized blush for you.
It doesn’t work.
I tried the Self-Adjusting Pink shade last year when the product was originally introduced and I loved it. Formula, pigment, etc…it’s a nice blush all the way around but as far as adjusting to be my perfect shade of pink? Nay I say.
This year, Stila introduced a new Self-Adjusting Coral shade and I was on that baby because I’m all about corals, peaches, etc…Love those shades not only because they look rather nice on my cheeks but also because it’s a fab color for Fall.
