Jennifer Aniston Near Dusk

It might feel over but Summer is still here and wearing a little Jennifer Aniston Near Dusk Perfume sure does help keep the feeling alive when I’m walking through aisles at the drugstore that have back to school shelves on one side and Halloween candy on the other, true story!

Jennifer Aniston Near Dusk Eau de Parfume Spray is the third fragrance from Jennifer and yet again brings together notes that remind you of the end of a great day at the beach.

Take a look!

Jennifer Aniston Near Dusk launched earlier this July and I’ve been wearing it daily since getting it. I actually like this a lot more than Jen’s original fragrance which launched back in 2011. From Dusk is completely different from the original juice but still manages to maintain it’s beach-y inspiration.

This fragrance has a tranquil, relaxing quality. The inspiration is sunset by the sea and watching the sun dip down under the water. It’s warm, inviting, and evokes the end of a long sunny day at the beach and the sultry balminess of dusk.

“My first two fragrances are feminine and refreshing – they remind me of a day spent by the ocean. I love being on the beach at twilight, and with Near Dusk, I wanted to recreate the relaxation of those fleeting moments of sunset. This fragrance captures that glowing feeling that comes over you as the sun sets and night falls.”

Jennifer successfully captured the elements of dusk with a fragrance that isn’t aquatic or sun tan-like in scent. I think beach fragrances have many facets but in most cases you’re getting either aquatic notes or notes of tanning oil. This isn’t the case with From Dusk. This opens up with a burst of slightly sweet nectarine with a calming coconut water and a hint of the freshness. It dries down quickly with a complex blend of jasmine sambac, peony, and orange flower. As it dries down you’ll find it goes completely woodsy with the barest hint of amber and a gorgeous warm vanilla with a woodsy element that adds delicious warmth to the fragrance. To me it has a slightly unisex vibe which is something I favor in fragrances. I like that warm hug from your boyfriend or husband type of fragrance and Near Dusk captures that on a lighter scale than say fragrances like Boyfriend.

The ombre bottle captures the essence of dusk with a soft almost clear purple that bleeds in a lighter dusky purple which represents the contrast between dark ocean waters and the radiant dusky sky.

The wear time is a little shorter for me on this fragrance at around two hours before fading. To extend the the wear I mist directly on my clothes or I apply unscented body lotion to help maintain the fragrance.

If you’re looking to capture and keep the long Summer days I’d say Jennifer Aniston From Dusk is the perfect way to do so. This lovely scent is perfect on a warm, humid night giving the wearing a gorgeous, sensual scent!

Jennifer Aniston Near Dusk Perfume is available Kohl’s and kohls.com.

Somehow I missed the second one, but I love the first one. Does she retire them? I can’t find it anywhere I’ll have to try this one out.

Unless a freak mi I ice age happens here in Texas (it really doesn’t become cool until November) this sounds like a perfect “transition” fragrance. I can’t wait to sniff this!
