My Fav Beauty and Makeup Staples to Pick Up During the Sephora Sale

sephora sale recs

I thought I’d do a my fav beauty and makeup staples to pick up during the Sephora sale as many people ask me, “What’s your favorite concealer? What’s your favorite mascara?” Etc…etc..and considering the Sephora Sale is on now would be a good time to check out some items I’ve found to be pretty awesome.

So here’s a list of my fav beauty and makeup picks, items I consider holy grail, items I’ll be stocking up on during the sale!

1. Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist $15 (Full Review)
It’s not just cute but it’s completely practical too! This is one my fav AM facial mists and I use it before anything else goes on my face in the AM. It provides a nice hydrating boast of moisture to my skin while prepping my complexion for moisture!

2. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream $45
This is actually a long time favorite AM eye cream for me. It isn’t the most moisturizing eye cream around but it is perfect for day wear plus I swear I get the best results with this one as my finer lines seem to look SO much better when I use it daily. I went a month without it because I was testing another eye cream and I swear in that time my finer ended up looking worst. This one seems to prove the most effective at treating those pesky little lines! That’s why it is one of the skincare products I purchase over and over again!

3. Dr. Jart Ceramidin Liquid $39 (Full Review)
After my day is over and I’ve cleaned my face of all my makeup I start my nighttime skincare routine with Dr Jart’s Ceramidin Liquid. This delivers an incredible amount of moisture to my skin and preps it for my other serums, moisturizers, and potions. In the morning my skin looks incredibly refreshed and so, so, so soft! Love this stuff!

4. Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream $48 (Full Review)
If you read my blog daily you’ve hear me rave this cream time and time again. It’s an ideal pick for my drier skin! It absorbs easily, doesn’t leave me shiny or greasy, and provides incredible hydrating to my dull, dry skin in a flash!

5. Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation $35 (Full Review)
I tend to keep my foundation very light but I must admit one of my great joys in life is mixing a drop of Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation with a tiny drop of facial oil. This HIGHLY pigmented, full coverage foundation brightens up dull complexion, covers problem areas, and creates a smooth, flawless finish on skin!

6. Benefit Cosmetics Lemon-Aid $20
One of the first few steps in my makeup regime includes Lemon-Aid on my eyes. For over 10 years I’ve used Lemon Aid to prep my eyes and I always, always keep a stash of it around just in case one day Benefit gets some crazy idea to discontinue it. It neutralizes my eyes, brightens them up, and provides a smooth canvas for my eyeshadow or if I’m going without eyeshadow it makes my eyes look lively and bright!

7. Dior Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in Mirage $31 (Full Review)
If one day, someone told me I could only wear one eyeshadow for the rest of my life I’d have to pick Dior’s Fushion Mono Eyeshadow in Mirage. This soft, sheer taupe gray is an ideal pick for those with older or drier eyes that want a delicate yet pretty smoked out eye look. It has a soft, clay-like texture that applies easily and creates a really pretty wash of smokiness on lids that’s easy, flawless, and sultry with a little eyeliner!

8. Urban Decay Perversion 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil $20 (Full Review)
Why do you not own Perversion!? If you don’t already own it, you NEED IT! Or just stock up on more! This is the best, blackest, and creamiest eyeliner around. Enough said.

9. Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara $30 (Full Review)
COMPLETELY misleading name! This is by far the best of the best for creating fuller, longer, juicer lashes and no, it isn’t a no mascara look!

10. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara $21
If I had to name a staple mascara this would be it. I use it in about 95% of my eye looks because I love how long, full, and incredible my lashes look with it on!

11. Tarte Glisten Amazonian Clay Blush $28
If I had to pick one shade of Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush to live with for the rest of my life it would be, no questions asked, Glisten! It’s the perfect golden peachy pink!

12. Tom Ford Santal Blush $220
I’ll be the first to say that Tom Ford’s fragrances are a bit too strong for me. My nose can’t really take the heaviness of his fragrance but Santal Blush is the exception. This spicy, woodsy fragrance is truly an incredibly complex and comforting blend. One of Tom’s best in my humblest.

13. Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 $24 (Full Review)
Ahh the good old 57 changing how you apply concealer with a simple buffing motion! This incredible blush will make your concealer look absolutely flawless. It is an absolute must have brush!

These are just some of my fav beauty and makeup staples!

I don’t think we have a space big enough to talk about them all but I hope this post introduced you to some new products to trying during the Sephora.com sale.

Happy Shopping to you all!

Lovely stock up list! 🙂 Nice that you have favorites and will be set for the year.

I purchased a Beauty Blender, purse size L’occitane hand lotion, a Shiseido skincare item, and a small Supergoop SPF sunscreen. 🙂

The Tom Ford perfume sounds interesting – I’m going to check that out at Nordies!

This looks like a pretty good list of essentials. Taking advantage of the sales is a really smart thing to do. I love the sales – especially when I can purchase something at half price.

My new favorite item to buy and splurge on, is the Kenzoki (or Kenzo) lotus water facial spray. OMG the mist is soo fine that I don’t get little droplets on my face randomly. Also the Too Cool for School Cherry Blossom Mist~!!

Must buy ALL THE MISTS haha
