Flower Endless Wear Eye Color Ultimate Eye Color ($7.98) are a new permanent silky, shimmery eyeshadow that launched for Spring 2016 in five shade selections. I thought upon seeing these they were a retake of the Flower Color Play Creme Eyeshadow that originally launched with the Flower Makeup Collection but they are actually a brand new formulation all their own.

Let’s take a look!

Flower Endless Wear Eye Color Ultimate Eye Color2

Flower Endless Wear Eye Color Ultimate Eye Color are one of those fabulous eyeshadows that apply perfectly every time without a ton of know how or tools. These are the eyeshadows you reach for when you have 5 minutes to apply your makeup but you still want to look all kinds of awesome.

Flower Endless Wear Eye Color Ultimate Eye Color come housed in a clear glass jar with a black cap and a big rose gold Flower emblem decorating the front. Flower’s packaging has always drawn the eye with it’s chic, modern packaging but the new Ultimate Collection packaging is even nicer as instead of white accents they went with black which gives the packaging a little more of an elegant look and feel. These are 0.14 oz in size and will likely remind you of products like L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow, Lancome Color Design Infinite 24H Eyeshadow, and Ulta Brilliant Color Eyeshadow.

Personally, I think they perform a lot better than any of the ones I listed below because the texture is a little denser, they are a chunky shimmery mess, and also they do not have a frosty or metallic finish.

These are dense yes but they have a slightly cushy feel and texture when you pressed into them and are quite silky and build easily from either a sheer layer to a bolder, intense look. I actually used my finger to apply them as I just find it easier but sponge tipped eyeshadow applications work nicely as well! I’d avoid eyeshadow brushes though as I find it difficult to pick up color with a brush. They apply and blend very smoothly with even, smooth color on lids that have a nice bit of shimmer which isn’t chunky. I experience no issues with fall out and color wore without primer for a solid 12 hours without a crease. Color faded a little bit at around hour eight and wasn’t as intense as the initial application but as promised they wore very well without creasing on my eyes for a good 12 hour period.

All in all, these are my “Quick! I don’t have time to apply makeup!” eyeshadow as they are so easy to apply yet produce really gorgeous eye looks in a few seconds. I was happy with both shades I purchased and I will be buying the others since they perform so well and look so great on my eyes.

One thing to note is they are are prices on Walmart.com for $6.78 but in stores they are $7.98 each.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmmmm… Do you think these are pigmented enough to use as eyeliner, Muse? That Charcoal is really pretty, and it would make an awesome liner color!!

  • Susan

I have found some winner’s in the makeup brand and think as a whole, it is highly under rated brand to boot. I saw these recently didn’t give them a whole lot of thought and walked on by. But now, I will have to pick up one or two and give them a try. I love those shadows that you can just apply with a fingertip and move on. And that they wear so long just the icing on the cake. Thanks for this review. And both colors look stunning on you especially the cinnamon color.

    • Isabella Muse

Aw my pleasure Susan! Hope you try them and let me know what you think! <3! I agree, it doesn't get enough attention and they have some really great products 😀

  • Lori

I love these both on you! The pictures make the “Cinnamon” name seem a little misleading ~ it doesn’t look like a reddish brown to me, but more of a purpley-taupey color. 🙂 Definitely getting both of these! I also agree that Hard Candy is a bit of an under-the-radar type of brand. Some of their stuff is a miss, but they have a lot of items that are hits!

    • Isabella Muse

I agree! Hard Candy has a lot of little hits that are underrated 😀

    • Lori

It’s Flower Beauty though, Drew Barrymore’s line… But Hard Candy does some good things too! 😉

  • BabyBeans

Drew Barrymore is truly embracing the quick, easy to throw on products. The new lip butters that also just released are so easy to swipe on and go. And the new foundation that was also just released can be applied without a mirror, it blends all in flawlessly. Flower is such an under rated brand!

    • Isabella Muse

I didn’t like the lip butters 🙁 I got two, one was ok but the other was draggy! So wanted to love them! I didn’t try the new foundation yet! Eager for that one 🙂

  • Claire L

They look fab! Shame that Walmart doesn’t ship to the UK. Flower beauty looks fun and affordable!

  • Dora

These look great on you.! I fear they are too glittery for me, though.

  • danadoo

Too bad these seem to be so nice, because for some undefinable reason i just cannot stand Drew Berrymore, and do not want to give her even one penny of my hard earned cash! I also hate that her brand is named “flower”, and i involuntarily cringe whenever i see these products. I really do not know where my hate for Drew comes from….i just can’t with her.

    • Hannah

She was with “My Bum is on a Bum” guy. I have the hardest time taking her seriously, too, but her makeup isn’t as bad as her early 2000s dating life at all!

  • Kelli

These were actually given to me, and i love them so much!! I got a deep brown shade and the gray shade you swatched (I forgot to look at the names!) I actually use an eyeshadow brush for the brown shade as it applies alot lighter and prettier on my fair skin.

  • Lori

I have 3 of them, they are pretty nice. Make a good base if you want to use them like that too!

  • Andrea Sullivan

I have flower ue3 . Am disappointed because my eye shadow flaked.
It is crumbling away. Will not buy again. My color is cinnamon.
