I dunno how about a$$ kicking the new Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur & Brighten Concealer Crayon ($9) is going to do since it is pretty sheer. But you gotta respect a concealer that’s called Kick Ass you know?
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur & Brighten Concealer Crayon is available in two shade selections and just recently released here in the US with many other new Soap & Glory Makeup goodies!
This is a twist up chubby little concealer crayon like L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer, Josie Maran Argan Infused Creamy Chubby, and Covergirl Tru Blend Fixstick Concealer. You remember a few years ago when everyone was going crazy releasing concealer crayons? Clinique released their Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick so I’m wondering when they are going to drop a chubby pencil themselves considering we have chubby everything for eyes, lips, cheeks, face, etc…!
Soap & Glory’s formula is actually quite nice if you don’t need or require a ton of coverage however, the fact it only comes in two shades limits who can use it in a major way. The formula is thin and quite emollient so if you suffer from drier eyes like I do it’s perfect! It glides on very easily and blends out perfectly. I tried it in Medium and it didn’t crease and brightened my eyes up quite nicely but suffered a little concealing my puffiness and finer lines. It also wears for a shorter time at around five hours before fading even when set with a little Ben Nye Banana Powder.
So unfortunately, no ass kicking was to be had with this formula. But it is nice for days you’re going minimal as its a quick swipe and brighten formula so it’s great for running errands or just for a more natural no makeup look!
No major awards to be given for coverage or long wear but Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur & Brighten Concealer Crayon is great for minimal makeup days.
