It Cosmetics Top 5 Superstars Holiday Edition Collection is available today on qvc.com as the QVC Today’s Special Value! This six piece It Cosmetics special value set includes all full-size products and is available for $59.95 for one day only as a one time shipment or is on auto delivery.

Let’s take a look!

There isn’t a doubt the It Cosmetics Top 5 Superstars Holiday Edition Set is a super bargain. You’re getting some of the best of the best in this set from It Cosmetics like their bestselling Bye Bye Undereye Concealer and Celebration Foundation Illumination. The set includes six full size products which means you’re paying a little less than ten dollars per an item before tax and the very cheap $3 shipping fee.

Here’s what you get:

I have review all of these items extensively in the past and have included links to each review I’ve done. I don’t want to rehash all my thoughts of the products in this post so, I do urge you to read through my reviews for more details, swatches, and much more if you’re curious about my thoughts on each individual product.

Although an excellent set I would only advise purchasing this if you’re a newer user of It Cosmetics, need a gift for someone who likes the brand. or you’re really need to replenish some of your favorite It Cosmetics products. I have many, many compacts of Celebration Foundation in both the regular formula and the Illumination one! If you’re anything like me you probably don’t need another compact of it. I love It Cosmetics for doing a fantastic value set but I wish they’d use their time doing something new to be featured in their QVC Today’s Special Value Sets as many of these items we know, love, and likely have plenty of already from past TSV sets.

The only stand out item here is the interesting snail shell swirl Heavenly Skin Foundation Brush. This is a new brush that has a swirled design that resembles a snail shell. It has a soft bristles, a sturdy handle, and buffs both cream and powders into skin beautifully well. Another stand out product that I personally can never get enough of is Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer. It’s available in your choice of shades in this set. If you never tried or used it before I highly suggest picking this set up as the concealer is a fantastic must have that’s very concentrated and pigmented!

The products I can safely skip here are Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment which I tried when it debuted in the It Cosmetics Its All About You! Customer Favorites Collection earlier this Summer. I found the formula dense and very, very sheer and not terribly moisturizing. I love the Je Nas Sais Quoi shade which It Cosmetics has made into a variety of products from blush to lipstick but the lip treatment is one of my least favorite products in this color. I also happen to have a huge love/hate relationship with Superhero Mascara which is quite a goopey mascara. It gives great length and volume but the thicker, gooey formula sometimes proves a pain to work with.

The set is available as a one time shipment or you can get it on auto ship. The same kit arrives every 90 days with the same items excluding the brush for $49.96. I’m not sure who would want to do this because I can’t see myself using up the concealer and foundation in that short a time. A little of Bye Bye Undereye goes a very long way! Getting a full-size of it every 90 days is wasteful for me as I’ll never use it up in that short a time. But the option is available if you’re a hardcore user of these items.

For me, the It Cosmetics Top 5 Superstars Holiday Edition will make a nice gift! It’s a great way to introduce friends or family to the brand at a nice price tag. It’s also a great way to better get to know It Cosmetics if you’re just starting out with this wonderful brand. However, fans of the brand already might step back, take a look at their collection, and realize they have much of what is in this set already. Again, I wish It Cosmetics would take some time out to introduce newer products in these sets. This is one reason I stopped purchasing Laura Geller Today’s Special Values as I ended up with a huge stockpile of Balance-n-Brighten. Which I love but sometimes you have to say enough is enough!

Will you be hauling the It Cosmetics Top 5 Superstars Holiday Edition?

Remember, it’s available today only at this price on qvc.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I so desperately hope that It will expand on their shade ranges! The Rich shade is sooo not suitable for women of color with deeper skin tones. As far as QVC goes I can always count on Mally’s poreless foundation or Laura Geller balance and brighten. I do want to know you opinion on the brush? The design is so unique, but I was curious if it worked any better in comparison to the other It brushes? Great review as always!

Hi Camille! Hopefully with their launch at Sephora they’ll expand their color selection!!!!!!!!!!! The brush didn’t really do anything that past brushes don’t already do. It’s an excellent brush but the design didn’t really deliver any difference results from past Heavenly Luxe Brushes.

  • Nicole

I agree! The past It Cosmetics QVC TSV’s have been so meh because they have been mainly old favorites. Seems like they are wanting to bank in on their new exciting products as stand-alone launches. I would totally jump in on a TSV if it had a gel liner, or new eyeshadow palette, or something other than the same foundation/brush/je ne sais quoi combo…

    • Isabella Muse

likewise! It’s a great intro set but if you’re an It fan you likely have ALL of this stuff already! Doubles of it probably!

  • Cheryl

I am tempted, because the brush is beautiful, I have never tried the illumination version of the foundation, and I have not yet tried the lip balm. That said, I have three Superhero mascaras waiting in the wings, four of the original celebration foundation compact in various shades, and two of the brow pencils from prior QVC kits. Plus, the lip balm does not really interest me and I don’t think there is that much difference between the illumination and regular powder foundations. I need another brush like I need a hole in the head. I am going to exercise some discipline and pass.

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t really like the illumination powder to be honest, I don’t really see the glow and the lip balm is very dense! So you didn’t miss much!

  • Andi

Was really disappointed in this tsv especially since the last one or one before was a “favorites” I was really hoping for something new

  • Nicole

Hi Isabella! Well this was and expensive weekend with Chaz and Jamie at QVC! My debit card tried to hide without success! LOL 😀
I was in when I saw the brush! Plus my niece said she need BBUE and I will give her the CFI because I have a backup (I think). Now as you know I like to share and give gifts a lot, so splitting up some of this TSV is no big deal for me, that being said…
I am SOOO on board with the IT Cosmetics TSV’s on QVC needing to add some fresh products and configurations that let us try products people may have not had a chance to.
One thing I have learned now after seeing a few things behind the scenes, if QVC does not like what a vendor wants to present or does not feel it will be a good seller it won’t get on air let alone into a TSV. So as much as I would like to blame IT Cosmetics, too many times I’ve seen products not get airtime at QVC based on what they project their main demographic viewers will buy with other brands. So maybe it is time to tell QVC they need to freshen up the IT Cosmetics TSV’s or we don’t see the need to continuing to purchase the same items many of us may have on auto delivery.
That’s just my opinion though. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

thank god not for me. I was good lol! 🙂 I did want the new fragrances but I held off! I agree on the TSV! It was terribly uneventful for me as a seasoned It Girl! But you can’t blame It, it’s all about QVC and what they think viewers will buy!

      • Nicole

Be excited you did not get the new fragrance my dear because something you will be very happy about is coming your way on December 9th! I am pretty sure I’m allowed to speak about it. If not slap my hand! 😀
I have a huge love for mini spray fragrances, I love anything pink or mini! 😀
So the upcoming WEN TSV is your choice of a set of 5 EDP sort of classic scents or a set of 5 EDP seasonal scents in mini bottles and in a pretty gift box. Myself, I have to give gifts and you know the mini bottles will be too darn cute! So yes, I will be grabbing both sets! 😉
What do you think Isabella? Maybe a good way to try the ones you haven’t and maybe gifts or have travel sizes of the ones you have and enjoy! 🙂

        • Isabella Muse

OMG I’m excited hopefully I don’t have them already! I might need both haha! I think I NEED!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Nicole

I thought you might like that TSV! 😉
I am going to take a guess based on the fragrances released what will be in them.
I think the classic set will include CBT, STA, BGT, MIF, and 6 13 or Light.
Seasonal set guess is FTP, WWC, SHL, SMC, and SHP. I am making a guess, so please to make definite plans just based on what I know so far. I think if not sooner, by Wednesday I should have more certain details to share. 🙂

          • Isabella Muse

I’m clapping my hands in excitement 😀 I can’t wait! thank you! Also, did you see the Joy fragrance coffret? I was contemplating it!

  • blee

I did get this and canceled the one from last year. I do skip them at times because the mascara is the only thing that you need every 90 days. I hope I like it . I have yet to try the newer one. But this is my favorite pressed foundation and love the brow power ( use them both daily). I just think that lip treatment should have been a change from last years. I agree with you it’s is not a great and the color is a zero for me. And adding this added my AD for another year past what I had. 😀

  • Nicole

No Isabella, I didn’t see the Joy coffret! Where did you see it??? 🙂
By the way, just so I don’t have everyone confused. The WEN TSV will be a set of CCs, but the fragrance gift sets are a very special price. 😉 Sorry, I got confused the way Chaz was talking about TSV day and what the TSV was. My bad!

      • Nicole

Shame on you! You are killing me! I have always been curious about Joy (the fragrances) because it seems to be something people love and I often hear it evokes memories for people.
Ugh!!! Well it is in my cart/basket (you know what I mean 😉 ). I know it is a little experience, but I have heard so many people rave about how they love it I feel compelled to at least try it. And this CUTE little coffrets! Well I think we know how this is going to end! HaHaHa!
Thank Isabella, sorry I got off topic. I am sorry I confused everyone on the TSV for WEN too. The fragrance gift sets are going to be very reasonable though and when I have the exact price (I just have a general idea price at the moment) I will pass the info onto you. Likely will be later today. 🙂

        • Isabella Muse

Beware, they are very mature and grandmotherly but if you can get past that you might just like them and find them very old-Hollywood and glam 🙂 The only thing preventing me from buying is they are dabbers and not spray bottles 🙂 Thanks for sharing the Wen info! Any info is awesome info so don’t be sorry!

          • Nicole

I wonder if the glamour and grandmother like scent is what makes people have that nostalgic feeling when smelling them. My grandma wore Chanel No. 5, she was warm and loving and always looked classy without being overdone. 🙂
I hear you on the dabber situation! There is a neon flashing sign in my head that says CONTAMINATION! For the price of the set you’d think could have made the spray minis.
Anyway, I will certainly get back to you on the WEN sets after I hopefully get more specifics today. 😀

          • Nicole

I saw them with my own eye! The EDP mini gift sets from WEN! Their are 6 EDPs in each beautiful gift box! I am unable to say forsure if they were coffrets or sprays but for under $60 per set I don’t care plus he is launching the EDP of PJP, which will be out in February for Valentine’s Day in the full size bottle!
Ok, here is the scoop on each set! CLASSIC Set: MIF, PJP, BGT, CBT, 6 13, & Light! 🙂
SEASONAL Set: FTP, WWC, SHL, SMC, Light, & SHP! 🙂
All of them are the Eau de Parfum concentration, gorgeous package, and well I just squealed when I saw the bottles! They should be presented 12/09/16 and I really doubt they will last longer than one presentation. Each set is under $60 for 6 scents and the launch of PJP; I see no way I can get less than to sets of easch because I have to charge the love! 😀
PS… The mini fragrances will eventually become available for individual purchase, BUT will sell for no less than $20 each. You are basically getting them for $10 each by purchasing them in the gift sets. 😀
