I Had a Dream That L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer Got Discontinued

I had a dream that that L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer got discontinued. Well, more like a nightmare. Totally not a cool feeling when your favorite makeup gets the axe! I’m still mourning the loss of Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer nearly 8 years later.

Recently, I was at Walgreens and CVS and I noticed a lot of the displays are emptying out or I see sales associates starting to pop in new displays in for a variety of newer Spring launches like the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor.

I gotta admit the launch of the new L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation and L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Concealing and Contour Kit had me breaking into a cold sweat over the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Collection. I mean, this is a vastly different formula and product line compared to Visible Lift Blur but what if they decided to discontinued Visible Lift Blur?

OMG nooo!

So, yeah, fool that I am, I ended up paying full price for two tubes of L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer just in case the zombie apocalypse hits or L’Oreal decides to discontinue it before I can get more at least I’ll have two full bottles. I know it’s not available on Ulta anymore. So yeah, worried here!

    I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this!

    I found some mascara I adored and I was so scared it would get discontinued so I put it on autoship . Then it got discontinued. Luckily I had a drawer full do to my fears!

    The whole Visible Lift line is on clearance at the Walgreens I shop at…so who knows!!

    I think Revlon’s going to be getting rid of some lipsticks to make room for the new ones.

    I haven’t tried this concealer yet but I’ll pick one up if I see it on sale in my local CVS or Rite-Aid. I noticed some clearance at Target the other day but I didn’t pay much attention since I was looking for specific items; it’s almost clearance time everywhere.

      Yeah! I hope it isn’t the Super Lustrous ones! Those are fab! Yup! Haven’t seen clearance yet but have seen SAs putting in new trays and also lots of empty shelves! Uh oh!

    I have seen most of the visible lift line on clearance in multiple stores. Including the blushes and conclearers. I don’t know if they’re discontinued or if they stores are just trying to refresh the stock they have but it looks like it is getting discontinued. =(

    Still mourning the loss of the Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch foundation. That was my HG, bury me with a bottle when I die foundation. I actually went to every single Big Lots in a 50 mile radius and snatched up 10 bottles. (“So this is 3 shades darker….I’ll make it work. I WILL make it work!”)

        Don’t….because then when they discontinue it, you’ll be lonely, lost, and have to try finding a HG foundation all over again. That can take years!

    I’m not a huge fan of the foundation, but I love the concealer! My favorite thing to do apply the concealer to brighten my face, wait for it to get a little drier instead of immediately blending, and reap the benefits of a perfectly textured creamy concealer. So sad to see this go 🙁

    Muse, should I try this before it’s gone forever? How does it compare with Tarte’s Shape Tape? I have yet to try that 1 either!

      You should, it’s lovely for dry eyes! 🙂 It’s nothing like Shape Tape, VASTLY different formulas. Read my reviews 🙂 you’ll see the differences!

    Hi Muse,
    Your dream have come true when it comes to finding Loreal Visible lift blur Concealer here in Canada. I went from drugstore to drugstore searching frantically for this particular concealer but couldn’t find it 🙁 They do have Visible Lift Blur foundation in drugstores but not concealer. I think it got discontinued b/c they have taken it off the shelves. I regret not picking up this concealer earlier when it was new in the stores but later when I read good reviews and I wanted to get my hands on it, I couldn’t find it. I wish someone could send me just one tube of this concealer from the place where it’s available.

    Isabella, do you think this concealer got discontinued after all? I went looking for it at 3 stores last week and can’t find it! I did find the Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer (the rollerball one), which is decent…but it’s not what I want!

    Side note: still mourning the loss of Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation. I have terrible skin and it’s the only foundation that covered my acne in a natural way. Colorstay Liquid is gross on me.

      oddly enough it still shows on their website but I can’t find it at any stores I go too! Target, CVS, Walgreens, all wiped displays. Nada available 🙁 I would say it is safe to say that they are slowly phasing it out. Aw sorry! 🙁 They actually still carry it on target’s website maybe you want to stock up!

    Your nightmare is now reality! I can’t find this makeup anywhere anymore and it seems the color I use nude beige is the most popular. I wound up buying 2 tubes on ebay. Very sad.

      That’s my color too. The “replacement” product they recommend is horrible! Heavy, dries my skin. Not sheer like the old versions. Let me know if you find a good replacement.

    So tell me, is it discontinued? I hate hearing about products after they’ve been discontinued (such as L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation).I could cry remembering how I squandered my Sebastian Laminates shampoo and conditioner in a blissfully unaware time while I strayed to other brands out of curiosity only to return some time later to a disconsolate landscape barren and bereft of SL. With the eye of an archeologist I’m finding tiny “gym sized”� bottles on eBay or occasionally Poshmark but why bother:(

        P.S. I ended up buying this concealer on eBay after I posted my comment here back in November…I was overjoyed!

        But then I used it a few days in a row…and I HATED it! I don’t know if I got a dud from eBay, but it looks terrible on my skin, and the concealer’s oils separate easily. 🙁 Bummer.

          maybe it separated due to the heat or it might be an old, expired tube 🙁
