Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette is on the way for Summer 2017. Wait, can we have a second to finish up how we feel about the Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette first? No? Ok, moving on I guess.

Update: This is available today at Sephora.com.
I swear things move way to fast in the makeup world lately.

As we head into Summer, Too Faced goes glittery with this new eyeshadow palette that contains a darkening and a brightening base shade as well as eight glittery eyeshadow shades. Although, I have to admit a quick look at this photo and they don’t look too glittery disco ball like thankfully. But you can never tell when it comes to Insta-photos! For a brief moment, the entire palette reminded me of Urban Decay’s Moondust Eyeshadow Palette. Glittery metallics, shimmers, and bright shades seem to be trending for Summer looks and it’s probably a relief to many people who are tired of the endless nude eye looks and heavily contoured and highlighted faces we’ve been seeing lately from many brands.

See the palette below!

I wonder how long it’ll be before we fall back into nudes but for now we have a lot of color coming our way. Tarte started things off with their Make Believe in Yourself Eyeshadow Palette and other brands are apparently following right along with their own colorful, shimmery eyeshadow palettes.

I don’t think the Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette is actually groundbreaking but it’s a little different from the recent releases they’ve been doing lately and I have no doubt their fan base is literally sobbing in joy at the moment.

As for me?

Count me curious. These look like softly packed shades which could mean they will apply as easily and as beautifully as the Return of the Sexy Eyeshadow Palette!

No word when the Too Faced Glitter Bomb Eyeshadow Palette launches yet but it is known to be sometime in June and will likely be at Sephora.com, Ulta.com, and of course, at toofaced.com.

Will you pick up?

Or are colorful, shimmery shades not your thing?

I am overwhelmed by the new products that are coming faster than I can get my hands on them. I want the Tarte Make Believe and the Too Faced natural love palettes. I think that will give me a good range of colors. I recently bought the Lorac California dreaming cheek palette and I love that. Now, I’m onto the new UD skin care line. I’m hesitant because UD made skin care back in the day, and I did not care for it. I can try and if I don’t like it, Sephora does offer an awesome return policy. 🙂

The colors are pretty but all glitter/sparkle is a no-no for me. Also, it doesn’t look like you could make many cohesive looks from this palette without using other sets or shades too.

I love shimmery shades but the color scheme of this palette is just too much! Hard pass, I’m afraid. And with it being a Too Faced palette I wonder the quality of this palette.

If I’m going to go with sparkly and colorful, I’ll stick with the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself palette because those shades are muted but fun. And I’ll be interested to see swatches of this one of course, but oh man. First impressions are not good!

i’m definitely intrigued but i think i will wait to see in person. I am buying too many palettes and not using them all. =/

Call me crazy but I am super annoyed that there is a lovely green on the cover but not one inside! This is a pass for me, the colors are too harsh. The UD Moondust colors are much more sophisticated.

That was the first thing that I noticed (and ticked me off) too!

i might get this. want to see reviews first. i bought the ud moondust palatte and getting buildability and coverage on my lid is very frustrating…..i wouldn’t buy the moondust shadows again. hoping this might be a little better…

Kel, with the moondust palette try an eyeshadow sponge applicator! It works great!

Well, at least they were proactive, and put a light and dark base directly in the palette. That’s acknowledging a fairly well known limitation with glitter shades: they need glitter glue of some type. TOFTS, but looks bomb-o and cool friendly, though with color glitter shades, who cares from warm/cool….just gotta be loud! If it’s half-decent, it will have a lot of takers. Yeah, agreed, the m/u issues are 2 fast/ 2 furious. You can spend your whole day on new releases. The downside of that is that you neglect the perms that would suit you wonderfully. My S sale April list has at least 10 things that have been neglected due to being permanent. Kind of put part of the blame on MAC.

I think the cosmetic industry is bombarding us with too many products and too many limited editions products. I am tired of all the hype and being disappointed with the quality of the product. Personally, I find myself going back to the products that are not limited edition and ones that actually work.

I love the UD Moondust and After Dark pallets but I’m hesitant to pick up this one. Even with the glitter glue primer, fall out is an issue so if the quality is A+ I’ll get it, if not it’s a pass. Too Faced is churning out so much, quality is really suffering
