Top Makeup & Beauty Picks for the Sephora Sale

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I woke up this morning, went about my routine, and realized, “Oh, the Sephora sale started today!” How in the world did I forget that? I don’t even have a very big list this year which surprised me but I’m going to wait a little while longer before indulging just in case something major pops up I need.

I know some of you asked for some of my top picks to haul during the sale so, I thought I’d make a little list of items you should grab up during the sale.

Take a look below for some ideas!

Benefit Galifornia (Review & Swatches)
Galifornia is definitely one of my fav blushes this Spring! This pretty golden pink is fresh, pretty, and perfect for Spring looks!

Sephora Contour Blush Palette $28
I actually grabbed up this palette last week when it first launched on site but haven’t cracked it open just yet. The very pretty shimmery blushes and bronzers in this palette were irresistible. With shades like Pink Peach and Orange Peach Shimmer this gorgeous blush and bronzer palette is perfect for Summer looks!

Tarte Make Believe In Yourself: Eye & Cheek Palette $40 (Review & Swatches)
If you haven’t already, now is a good time to pick up Tarte’s newest palette! This colorful palette veers away from Tarte’s traditional neutral shades and heads into colorful metallic realms!

Kat Von D Rock Candy Studded Kiss Lipstick Set $45
If you’re a little scared of the neon colors in Kat’s newest Studded Kiss Lipstick Set now is a good time as any to grab up this set that includes six vibrant shades of Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks in a range of fun, funky shades!

Benefit Cheek Parade $58
Speaking of Galifornia why not get it as well as 4 other full-size Benefit Box o’ Powders in this gorgeous blush palette!

Too Faced Natural Love Ultimate Neutral Eye Shadow Palette $59 (Review & Swatches)
I WISH I got my Natural Love Palette on sale! This is a round up of 30 Too Faced Eyeshadows some of which are new where as others are repromoted shades from past palettes. I honestly, wish I had gotten mine on sale as I’d have totally felt better about the purchase. I wouldn’t say this was my favorite Too Faced Palette but on sale? It does make it a little more tempting!

This cute duo of Gen Nude Lip products is already super cheap but at 15% off it makes it an even nicer deal!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG Muse…I’m actually very seriously considering pulling the trigger and getting the Natasha Denona Star Palette ($169). Please hold my hand…

Other than that, I’m eagerly awaiting the UD Basquiat palettes.

    • Isabella Muse

think about how many other things you can buy for that amount 😀

  • Amy

The Juicy Couture fragrances sound lovely and the bottles are gorgeous. I got excited and thought there was a set with the two together. But each for $130? Guess I’ll skip this time. I hope you write about the Royal Rose one especially. Curious how it’s different from the Viva la Juicy Rose.

    • Isabella Muse

sadly not 🙁 hopefully at some point they might do a duo! I grabbed both, will def review them!

  • Christina D.

Wait a sec…you spent $260 on perfume? Now I may have to splurge on the ND palette!

    • Isabella Muse

lol in my defense I had a sephora gift card 😀 I didn’t actually “spend” my money haha!

  • Jes

Just a reminder. You can reuse the coupon between the sale dates…I’m hoping I don’t want any more, but I have doubts. $$$$$

    • Isabella Muse

Thanks Jes! LOL that means we’ll end up spending even MORE $$$ 😀

      • June

Hi! Is is reusable? I’m Rouge and I just had the store tell me it’s not! I’m really surprised as it doesn’t say so on the card. Anyone have insight? Thanks!

        • Isabella Muse

You should be able to use it online more than once. In store, it’s likely a one time use!

          • kjh

Yeah. Not a dime to Sephora until today, then Bango… half way to rouge in ~30 min shopping time in store and online. And I forgot stuff and will need another order. Better to think that I amortized it over 4-5 months. Makes it easier to feel less guilty. Thanks for adding to the forgot list. Btw, my little Sephora said on or in for the duration, but to be on the safe side, I’m ordering the rest. I had screenshot the bar code, bec the email wasn’t printable. (You KNOW they almost always screw something up) But, they had a general rouge bar code paper they scanned, once they confirmed you were. They did not use a personally dedicated code. It’s f’sure that not all stores follow the same policies. That’s why I go to LITTLE Sephora, as much as staff more pleasant, cleaner, testers not grubby, no mall rats, etc.

          • Isabella Muse

LOL good for you! 😀 enjoy your haul!

  • Christina D.

OK the moment passed (momentarily, at least). I’m a firm believer in quality over quantity, but there was something jarring about seeing the total ($143.65) for only ONE item in the basket before I checked out. Bought more Viseart instead.

    But sale isn’t over yet…

  • Kimmwc03

Good picks. I’m still deciding; especially since Ulta has a better discount right now. Jo Malone is a definite possibility for me.

  • Isa

Galifornia is definitely something I’ll be picking up when the sale comes up! The individual, not the cheek parade although the palette is a good deal. It’s just that I only want 1 product in it and I don’t need a Hula, let alone 2!

    • Isabella Muse

The cheek parade is a fab deal but I didn’t need any of those shades so I didn’t bother but I have some sort of regret because I didn’t haha 😀
