Drugstore Makeup Halloween 2017 Collections
The drugstore makeup Halloween 2017 Collections are starting to pop up in stores! Last week, I came across the L’Oreal Paint Your Transformation Halloween Collection, Maybelline Halloween Unmasked Sugar Skull Collection, Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Halloween 2017, Essence Booiful Nights and many other Halloween Makeup Collections.
Here’s a look at what you’ll see trickling into drugstores next month!
Maybelline has two collections one of which is the Halloween Unmasked Sugar Skull Collection that features repromoted items like Master Precise Ink and Color Senstional Lipstick to create a skull makeup look! The second collection is entitled Halloween Unmasked Fashion Wildcat which features more repromoted items such as their new Metallic Matte Lipstick range.
Smackers has a darling selection of Tsum Tsum Nail Polishes featuring Disney Villains for $2.99 each. Other nail collections include Sinful Colors Night of the Living Dead neon polishes, China Glaze Happily Never After, and Sally Hansen I Am Wild. I Am Xtreme.
L’Oreal Paint Your Transformation gives you colorful repromoted items to create a unicorn, mermaid, and pop art look using Infalliable Paints. This display also introduced their new Infallible Galaxy Stick.
Halloween wouldn’t be Halloween without Wet n Wild’s Fantasy Makeups Collection! As always they’ll be several different displays popping up across a variety of drugstores. The one I found had new shades of MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick and Color Icon Loose Pigments in new shades. There’s also a limited edition Paint Palette that holds six shades. Their main collection is about recreating a mermaid look. Guess they don’t want to ditch that dark mermaid trend they got going on just yet!

Essence joins the Halloween drugstore makeup round up with their Booiful Nights Collection featuring a new Metal Shock Lipstick as well as repromoted eyeshadow primer, mascara, and liners.
So far, that’s what I’ve seen in the drugstore Halloween makeup world. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more goodies and post back if I see any.
Anything you want from these collections?
I find some of this disappointing as brand tend to use these seasonal collections as a launching pad to repromote products from their permanent line. If they introduced some new shades and LE items I’d probably get much more excited. But I still think it’s nice that more than Wet n Wild has started to create Halloween makeup collections!
