SJP Stash Unspoken Arrives
SJP Stash Unspoken Eau de Parfum has arrived at Ulta and I couldn’t be happier as I can use my extra 20% Off coupon code to grab this up (they sent another one today, check your email). Last year, Sarah Jessica Parker introduced Stash and much to my teenage inner boy’s delight said it smelled liked body odor.
Wait, what?
Yup. She was quoted as saying that. But I totally understand what she was going for when she said that. Stash is a masculine fragrance which has a worn out smell. It smells like your boyfriend misting his favorite cologne in the morning and come home a little hot and tired. It’s hard to describe but it has a worn out men’s cologne scent that I find very comforting. I thought at first sniff it might be a Kate Walsh Boyfriend return but it sadly, isn’t anything like my beloved Boyfriend Perfume (Please Kate, won’t you bring it back!?).
Now I am slightly concerned about Stash Unspoken as it looks like it might be a more feminine scent. The reason I loved the original so much was because it smelled so masculine. I liked that it was a unisex blend. The new version has softer, woodsy and floral notes. They describe it as sparkling which makes it sound WAY more feminine than the original.
The base is a musky, sandalwood, tonka bean one but the top and heart are created with softer notes like pink peppercorn, wisteria, and honeysuckle. None the less, I’ll totally blind buy this as I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
