SJP Stash Unspoken Arrives

SJP Stash Unspoken Eau de Parfum has arrived at Ulta and I couldn’t be happier as I can use my extra 20% Off coupon code to grab this up (they sent another one today, check your email). Last year, Sarah Jessica Parker introduced Stash and much to my teenage inner boy’s delight said it smelled liked body odor.

Wait, what?

Yup. She was quoted as saying that. But I totally understand what she was going for when she said that. Stash is a masculine fragrance which has a worn out smell. It smells like your boyfriend misting his favorite cologne in the morning and come home a little hot and tired. It’s hard to describe but it has a worn out men’s cologne scent that I find very comforting. I thought at first sniff it might be a Kate Walsh Boyfriend return but it sadly, isn’t anything like my beloved Boyfriend Perfume (Please Kate, won’t you bring it back!?).

Now I am slightly concerned about Stash Unspoken as it looks like it might be a more feminine scent. The reason I loved the original so much was because it smelled so masculine. I liked that it was a unisex blend. The new version has softer, woodsy and floral notes. They describe it as sparkling which makes it sound WAY more feminine than the original.

The base is a musky, sandalwood, tonka bean one but the top and heart are created with softer notes like pink peppercorn, wisteria, and honeysuckle. None the less, I’ll totally blind buy this as I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Please do some reviews on men’s scents and unisex. I value your opinion and descriptions, but never am drawn to your preferred, like the gourmands.

I have a rather vast collection of masculine scents in my stash as I really like warmer, comforting blends! I’ll def get on doing some reviews πŸ˜€

i just bought regular stash, this week with a coupon, and will need stash unspoken too, because i love a lot of the notes, and hope it has a similar feeling.

Even with “floral,” you had me until “sparkling.” I’ll (eagerly) await your review!

Dude WTF Ulta? I have not received those 20% off coupons that include fragrances. The only one I got was for styling tools including Dyson. I don’t even use a hair dryer.

i think we have similar scents that we love! i am going to have to check this out as i need a new winter fragrance. the monoi scent that we bought is too summery to wear right now. i really wish laura mercier still sold the creme de pistache perfume! so i will check out sjp. if it doesn’t work for me i may just go back to original prada.

If you want a lovely warm comforting scent for Winter Jo Malone just brought back Ginger Biscuit ;D

Ooh, this sounds interesting! I just picked up a small bottle of Derek Lam 10 Crosby 2am Kiss and a bottle of Tom Ford Santal Blush, so I may be tapped out for perfume right now, though, lol.

Santal Blush is lovely ;-D I really like DL’s stuff but I wish they had better linger on my skin!

I actually wound up ordering a roller ball of the Stash Unspoken with one of the Ulta 20% off coupons I got. I just put it on a few minutes ago. So far, so good! It’s not as light and effervescent as I was fearing. It’s heavy on the tonka bean and musk, with a fruity-floral twist to it. I prefer the original, as I tend to prefer weightier, more unisex or masculine scents, but it’s a nice follow-up.

Can you tell me what you think of it? I’m hoping to see a review. While I’m not a big fan of the common celebrity fruity floral I have liked everything that SJP has come out with. I’m more of a fragrance juice knows no gender girl and I will very often buy and wear men’s cologne. Huge fan of the musk and oriental spicy scents though. I was so grateful you opened my eyes to Zoologist Perfumes.
