Bliss Introduces Three New Exfoliating and Cleansing Sticks

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Bliss Cold Pressed Olive Oil Foaming Cleanser, No Dull Days Purifying Cleanser, and Oh My Gommage! Gentle Polishing Cleanser are three new exfoliating and cleansing sticks from the Bliss Spa Labs that recently launched at Ulta. Tarte Frxxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser is still my exfoliating stick of choice! I really love that thing although I run through it crazy fast! But I’m so willing to try something new! Perhaps the Bliss Oh My Gommage! Gentle Polishing Cleanser might be a good replacement.

In 2016, stick everything seemed to be the order of business! Blush sticks, cleansing sticks, moisturizing sticks, etc….this seems to be a trend that’s catching on with drugstore brands at the moment as well and since I consider Bliss more of a drugstore brand at the moment it is in fact taking on the trend as well!

Bliss No Dull Days Purifying Cleanser ($15 on sale for $12.75) is an oil absorbing cleansing stick that contains charcoal to detox and purify skin. Apparently it acts to cleanse as well as exfoliates skin!

Bliss Cold Pressed Olive Oil Foaming Cleanser ($15 on sale for $12.75) might be a great pick for those of us with drier skin as apparently it contains more than 40% olive old to gently clean skin while melting away makeup and dirt.

And finally for those needing a little gentle exfoliating action the new Bliss Oh My Gommage! Gentle Polishing Cleanser ($15 on sale for $12.75) is a non-abrasive exfoliate that contains plant-based fibers to capture and roll away dead skin cells without the graininess of a traditional exfoliating scrub.

They sound pretty cool I might just give the olive oil cleansing stick a try as it sounds perfect for drier skin!

All of Bliss is on sale this week at Ulta with prices slashed 20 to 30% so if you’ve been wanting to try some of their new items now is a good time!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Sticks melt chez moi. Remember when Bliss was Marcia Kilgore, sold only in their spas and by catalogue? You’re probably too young…Then they went to W hotels and high end b&m/online, then…. Kohl’s. Cargo was kind of the same, from Barney’s…step down to Kohl’s. I no longer favor Bliss ‘recipes,’ but not only do I know more/know my skin better now, there are such better choices these days…like all the AB you turned me on to. Hope you, the pup, and your business are all doing well.

I remember that well! Bliss was well known at higher end hotels/spras! I can’t say I remember Cargo being at Barney’s WHOA! but I do remember it at Sephora! I’m great thanks dear! Pup is staying with my parents this week as I’m away on vacay! She’s being spoiled rotten! biz is good 🙂 My sis is running around busy with it but I’ll be back shortly to relieve her ;-D

I have a stupid question: are you supposed to use the stick to apply the cleanser and then wash with your hands/a tool or do you actually scrub your face with the stick and then rinse it off?

    • Isabella Muse

apply to your face with the stick, massage in with hands, rinse with water.

Yes, please! I love the Tarte stick but it goes so fast. This is less expensive so I’ll give it a try.

I hope it’s as good! I love the Tarte one too but agreed it really goes fast!
