5 stars out of 5

Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($26) is a new, limited edition peach scented 8-pan eyeshadow palette that launched with the Too Faced Holiday 2018 Collection at Sephora. There’s a secondary palette that Too Faced released called Sugar Cookie which is available at Nordstrom, Macy’s (on sale for $22 today with free shipping), and HSN which I haven’t purchased but after trying the Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette I fully intend to do so.

This little palette is not only cute but also, quite beautifully formulated which comes as unexpected considering Too Faced Holiday Collections for the last few years haven’t really been all that great. I know all of the Tarte Holiday 2018 made it on my miss list this year but Too Faced, well, Too Faced has my attention and my eye at the moment.

Here’s my thoughts, review, and swatches on this cute Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette!

Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette might bring to mind the horror story that was the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette and Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette due to it’s compact size but it’s vast, vast improvement on that horrible Black Friday and Cyber Monday release from two years ago! Not only is the packaging much improved but also, the eyeshadow formula itself is fantastic and just as good as the eyeshadows found in some of Too Faced more larger palettes. For those curious, this palette is made in the USA.

I feel like they really made such efforts this year with their Holiday Collection especially in the area of this palette which comes housed in a tiny tin compact and the full-size mirror inside. It’s really quite well made not to mention adorable with it’s cute little smiling peach decorating the front. Inside you’ll find eight eyeshadows, six of which that are 0.02 oz each and two that are 0.03 oz. I think I’m so used to all these bulky cardboard palettes that launch over the Holidays that it comes as some shock that Too Faced launched such a nicely built and budget friendly palette for the Holidays. Well done guys, well done! They are totally restoring their faith as a brand in me.

Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette Swatches (Parisian Peach, Peach Spice, Tickled, and Plum Fun)

Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette Swatches (Peach Bum, Peachy Swear, Warm & Fuzzy, Love Pit)

I’m not sure I’d go so far as to say the shades inside are unique as if you’ve collected some of Too Faced’s past peach palettes or just some of their palettes in general you can probably find some variation of the shades in this palette. Although, I will say I don’t see any exact dupes. For example, Just Peachy from the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette looks a little like Peachy Swear although Peach Swear is a bit deeper and warmer. Tickled is another shade that looks a bit like Bellini from the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. Again, not exact dupes but variations of shades we’ve seen. None the less, I’m still glad I purchased it because it’s such a delightful little travel palette.

I didn’t struggle with any of the shades here. They all had a velvety texture with excellent pigmentation and very little fall out with a formula that blended easily on my eyes. The palette does have a subtle peach fragrance but it seemed to disappeared after I used the palette a few times.

All in all, the Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette was delightful and it made me want the Sugar Cookie Eyeshadow Palette as well! If you’re looking for an easy to use selection of peach shades that’s travel-friendly this little palette is a great, inexpensive pick up! It’ll also make a great stocking stuffer!

Loves it!

Where to buy

Sephora Too Faced

Too Faced Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette is limited edition Holiday 2018 release that includes eight new eyeshadows. The palette was designed quite cute and comes housed in a tin compact with a generously-sized mirror. The smaller size allows for easy travel and storage. I thought the shades weren’t terribly unique but they aren’t complete dupes of past peachy shades from Too Faced either. The formula was great with an easy to blend formula that had a lightweight, velvety texture with great pigmentation and very little fall out.

Pros

  • Affordable at $26.
  • Made in the USA.
  • Beautifully textured eyeshadows with excellent pigment.
  • Pretty packaging, travel-friendly, and easy to store.

Cons

  • Does have a subtle peach scent which might be an issue for sensitive users.

Who

I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t love this palette especially if you’re a fond fan of the peach themed collections that Too Faced has been launching lately. It’s a cute selection of shades that’s not too overwhelming to pair up to create looks plus the formula is quite good!

Glad to hear the quality is there this year. I caved and ordered the Gingerbread palette over the weekend. It’s getting great reviews and swatching rather nicely so I’m excited. Thanks for letting us know TF got their act together for the holidays.

    • Isabella Muse

I got it too and so far I’m liking it. I’m happy they got things together for the Holidays! Finally something good to haul! 😀

    I don’t need this…I don’t need this…I don’t need this…I NEED THIS!!!!…I don’t need this…I don’t need this…

  • Jujubes

I am glad this scored so well! I ordered the Sugar Cookie palette and it is arriving tomorrow. I hope it is as good as this one. I had a hard time choosing between the two and took the Sugar Cookie solely because I prefer that scent (which I have yet to sniff lol).

I got mine yesterday and was so excited to use it, but sadly it has a lot of fall out and powder kick up…the palette itself is very cute, but the scent is very artificial, I think the peach one would have been much better! I used both synthetic and natural bristle brushes, but both had fallout and a few of the glitter shades were difficult to pick up. Not too pigmented either. I think you are much better off with your peach one!

          • Jujubes

I don’t know if I got a bad batch…but anyway, the shades swatch very similar to the Tickled Peach mini palette that you probably won’t need to buy both…

that’s so sad 🙁 thanks for the heads up! sounds like I’m good with TP!

    • Michelle

I got the Sugar Cookie palette yesterday. I don’t care for the scent (it smells a little chemically to me) but I love the colors. Maybe when the scent fades a little it will improve.

  • Kish

These colors are really pretty. But WHYYYY are those two pans a different shape??? My OCD twitches every time I see this. *cries*

    • Carol G

Kish, I thought the same thing immediately but didn’t want to comment about it because it’s just a minor detail. However, it drives me crazy as well. Just turn the pans all the same way!

  • Jeanine

You had me at made in the U.S.A!
I’ve never met someone or internet met someone that shops and loves sephora as much as I. Until i found you that is! I appreciate your detailed reviews more than you know. I really appreciate when you include the ingredients, as well. I sometimes forget to read them when shopping for products. Lastly, obsessed with the new set up. ❤

    • Isabella Muse

omg thanks Jeanine! <3! Love love you! You made my day with your sweet comment 🙂

  • Janessa

I want this so bad! This and the Sugar Cookie pallet are the first things that have really caught my eye for the holidays. I’ll have to just bite the bullet and pick them both up now 😉 Does this one smell like the original Sweet Peach palette??

    • Isabella Muse

it seems stronger! the original sweet peach palette seemed weaker. To me it smells more like the Peaches and Cream Collection!

  • Maria

I read your review and caved in. I have the original sweet peach and matte palettes and I ordered it. I have so many palettes and I just got the gingerbread one. this small version is so cute.

  • Amy

I have both this and the Sugar Cookie palette. They are both amazing and I am totally in love with these tiny little palettes! They blend perfectly and I love the formula. And color wise, they compliment each other very well. And they are adorable!
I swore off Too Faced after the Grand Hotel Cafe palettes came out. They were so horrible and I used my Ulta points, so I felt like I totally wasted them. So glad I gave them another chance because I think they’ve definitely improved their holiday offerings.

    • Isabella Muse

yay! so glad to hear it! And I agree they are adorable! I am not buying any of their bulkier sets this year tbh just because they store so badly but these little ones I’m all about!

  • Audrey

This palette is so pretty! It’s ironic that this Christmas collection they’ve dropped on us has done SO much better than a lot of the stuff they hype the crap out of. I hope they’re re-learning that all they have to do is let their products do all the talking! This is the first time in a long long time that my wish list is mainly Too Faced things. Good for them.

    • Isabella Muse

right!? I was shocked tbh! I expected crap! About time! I hope future releases are just as great!

  • Jennifer

I bought the Gingerbread spice palette and have been liking it so I ordered the Sugar Cookie palette with my $10 beauty coupon from my Macys beauty box. I’ve only see a couple reviews on the Sugar Cookie palette but they were all good reviews. Then I ended up ordering the Tickled Peach …..no self control

  • Heather Barber

I ordered this the minute I read your review. I used it this morning and it is gorgeous. The color are beautiful and the texture is dreamy. Thank you!!

  • Hello

I really want this one… but not for eye-shadow. It looks like the perfect blush + contour palette for me.
